Just opposite the Apollo Bay Beach, Waterfront Motor Inn offers a variety of accommodations in a lovely garden setting. Guests enjoy free WiFi and some rooms offer ocean views. The receptionist was very efficient and friendly. Location could not have been better. Apartment was absolutely spotless.

Marengo Beach Studios- Pet Friendly in Marengo provides adults-only accommodations with free bikes, a garden, and barbecue facilities. Very neat and clean. Had everything we needed (towels, coffee, tea, utensils, etc)

Metung Hot Springs features wellness packages and a public bath, as well as air-conditioned accommodations in Metung, 19 miles from Bairnsdale Train Station. Arrival staff were friendly and helpful, the private spa barrels were wonderful, the room was beautifully furnished with no expense spared on floor finishes, linen, furniture, Japanese crockery. Ambiance from lighting and the planting outside was beautiful. Arrival chocolates and prosecco cans was a nice touch, and the breakfast hamper was lovely. Bed was super comfy, and the heat lamps in the shower, and heated towel rails were great!

12 Rocks Beach View Loft Central Port Campbell is located in Port Campbell, just a few steps from Port Campbell Beach and a 14-minute walk from Port Campbell National Park. This is a beautiful apartment with a view right over the bay and jetty. There is everything you need, including two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and laundry, full fridge, coffee machine, and two lovely balconies - one with a little BBQ. There's a great restaurant right downstairs that is very popular and an IGA just a few doors up for anything else you need, including liquor/wine. We really enjoyed our stay a lot.

Torquay Homestay Guesthouse offers accommodations in Torquay, 13 miles from Geelong Train Station and 15 miles from North Geelong Train Station. The homestay hosts were extremely kind and welcoming. The breakfast provided was light, healthy and lovely. We also enjoyed the conversation we had with the host, who is an author. We talked about his work and even left the homestay with a copy of his book!

Waters Edge Apartment offers accommodations in Rye, a 14-minute walk from Rye Beach and 3.2 miles from Blairgowrie Marina. The location is great. The apartment is very clean, and has all the equipments I need for a short stay apartment. We had a quiet Christmas at this beach house in Rye, it was lovely.

Ralf's Coastal Shack offers accommodations in Marlo, a 14-minute walk from Mots Beach. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. So much room to spread out. Good shower huge comfortable bed. Very welcoming and friendly hosts. Very peaceful place we would highly recommend.

Featuring garden views, Modern Quiet 1 & 2 Bed Apt Opposite Albert Park in Melbourne features accommodations and free bikes. We’ve stayed in Melbourne before—last time in St Kilda via Airbnb—but that experience turned out disappointing. This time, we finally found what a true host experience should be, in booking.com. We arrived super early, around 5am, but our host kindly woke up just to welcome us. She even prepared fresh-baked bread and milk for us, which felt incredibly thoughtful after a long journey. Unlike many places in Melbourne where you need to collect keys from some locker or convenience store, our host personally waited for us at the door and gave us a warm welcome. She patiently guided us through the house, making everything feel effortless and at home. The appliances in the house are top quality—especially the dryer, which I loved because it dries clothes gently without damaging them. What really touched us was the extra care: in the chilly Melbourne winter, the host prepared new cotton slippers for us—such a small gesture, but it made us feel so warm, literally and emotionally. Throughout the stay, we cooked and made ourselves at home. The kitchen had everything we needed. It didn’t feel like staying in a rental—it felt like staying in a real home. Honestly, this has been the best hosting experience I’ve had. Thank you for making our Melbourne trip so special!
