Perfect accommodation for our week on Exuma. Our host Mark provided lots of recommendations of things to do and where to go. He also checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. You definitely need a car to get around the island, and I found the beach a bit too far for walking when it was hot. A very relaxing week.

This B&B is set in the shores of the Paradise Bay Beach, 15 minutes’ drive from Exuma International Airport. Everything. Breathtaking beach and view. Charming cottage. Wonderful staff. Regina went above and beyond. Adjacent restaurant is excellent and Eva’s across the street is an experience with good food as well. The beach is quiet and there is a palapa and loungers for each cabin. This is the place to relax and chill. This is an excellently managed property. We left having made good friends.

Windsor place offers accommodations in Hermitage, a 10-minute walk from Turtle Beach. The apartment also offers free Wifi and free private parking. A fantastic place! The owners are incredibly kind, helpful and genuinely warm-hearted. If you’re looking for peace, authenticity and a human touch, this is where you’ll find it. Everything was exactly as it should be and even more. Don’t worry about the distance from the town, the owner will drive you anywhere and show you everything you need. Highly recommended from the bottom of my heart.

A 17-minute walk from Jolly Hall Beach in Georgetown, Da Sugar House offers accommodations with access to a hot tub. This property offers a private pool and free private parking. I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Da Sugar House in Exuma, and I can honestly say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the property felt like a home away from home, with its cozy charm and perfect location. The house itself is beautifully designed—tastefully decorated, spacious, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing getaway. What truly set this stay apart, though, was the host, Steve. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, from offering local tips on the best beaches to making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. His hospitality made us feel welcome and taken care of every step of the way. The location of Da Sugar House is perfect—peaceful and secluded, yet close enough to all the wonderful sights and activities Exuma has to offer. We especially loved spending time on the private porch, enjoying the breeze and the breathtaking scenery. If you're looking for a peaceful and memorable escape in Exuma, I can't recommend Da Sugar House and Steve enough!

SANDY BOTTOM COTTAGES provides rooms in Mount Thompson. This apartment offers free private parking, free shuttle service, and free Wifi. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk. Rowena picked us up at the airport and brought us to our cottage, where everything was way better than we expected. We opted for the sea view cottage, and it's adjacent to the Sandy Bottom Liquor Store (which they also run, so they're always available and close by). We had a private house with kitchen, living room, bathroom, and two bedrooms, but the best part was the patio with furniture and an amazing view of the beach. We had the beach to ourselves the whole time. We opted to rent a car (pretty important on Exuma), and they had it already there for us with the keys inside. No paperwork, and cheaper than renting at the airport and more convenient. We had an excursion booked with Coastline Adventures and Rowena was proactive about calling them to make sure it was still on (forecast of wind was iffy) and when we needed to be there and all the details. When we checked out they brought us back to the airport. The cottage is very new and in excellent condition, well stocked, and the AC works well but isn't necessary with the windows open and the island breeze coming through. The kitchen had everything we needed to make basic meals, and there are restaurants nearby as well. I would 100% recommend this place and these hosts. It couldn't have been better.

Just a 2-minute walk from Jolly Hall Beach and 1.1 miles from Turtle Beach, Sheer Bliss BeachView Apt #2 features accommodations in Exuma Harbour Estates with a private beach area. Clean, newly refreshed/renovated and had all the necessities. The location is good as it is close to George Town as well as has a beach across the street and the turtle beach is just 1 km way. And as an extra bonus, it has the best family owned diner next door - you absolutely have to visit it :) also, quick response and great care provided to any questions or concerns raised by the owner. Thank you!

Featuring a private beach area, Sheer Bliss BeachView Apt #1 offers accommodations in Georgetown. This stay was excellent. All of the pictures acurately showed what it looked liked, it was located exactly where it was shown on the map (which is important given that there are no formal addresses), it was walkable to the grocery store, a great cafe, a great lunch spot, and several very nice beaches. It was also great being right off of the main road.

With Jolly Hall Beach reachable in a 4-minute walk, Beautiful Villa just steps away from the beach! It was conveniently located near Georgetown and near public beaches on the island. The resort and villa that we stayed in were clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and having the restaurant and bar on property was perfect.

Peace and Play offers accommodations in Hermitage, 1.7 miles from Turtle Beach. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Guests can have a drink at the bar. The villa is spacious, beautiful, and centrally located—perfect for exploring the area. While the final stretch of road is rough, with large potholes (a Jeep might help), we managed without one. The kitchen is well stocked, and we appreciated the supply of clean towels, beach towels, and two portable beach chairs. Even a cooler, snorkeling gear, and fins were provided. The hosts were incredibly helpful, offering great local recommendations and even arranging a birthday cake for us from a local baker. We felt very much at home. The nearby pool is clean and inviting, with plenty of lounge chairs, beach chairs, and shaded areas for relaxing. Internet troubles were quickly solved with a mobile solution, which worked well enough for our needs, even if it was a bit slow. For leisure travel, a 100% recommendation!
