The apartment is spacious, quiet and 2 minutes walk to supermarkets and restaurants. The wifi is good and there is Netflix. It’s in a nice neighbourhood with a local feel to it. As such, restaurants are very reasonably priced as they are not tourist traps. Above all, the couple that runs the apartment, Sandra and Ricardo, are so caring and attentive to any need or question you might have. They are wonderful, charming hosts! I would definitely return.

Deluxe B&B "Casa Alegria", Tarrafal in Tarrafal provides accommodations with a garden and a shared lounge. This bed and breakfast provides free private parking, a shared kitchen, and free Wifi. The location and the staff were excellent! Irene treats you like family and helps you out with all your needs. I felt so comfortable and never had to worry about a thing – from taxis, to tips on what to do, and where to eat. I was traveling solo and felt very safe and welcome. The location is also perfect walking distance to the beach and several restaurants.

Super cosy appartement right next to a lovely little garden. Also the little village itself is really lovely, with several bars and 2 mini markets. The large, black sand beach is a 10min walk away, and you'll be there almost private :) Worth to mention also the lovely (french speaking) host, who will take care of you super friendly and helpful :) Absolute recommendation!

Hospitality: The host was an amazing and friendly person. His warm welcome made me feel right at home. He was always available for questions and ready to help whenever I needed it. Overall: I am very satisfied with my stay in this apartment. The combination of the great location, the tidiness, and especially the host's hospitality made my experience unforgettable. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay.

Beautiful and brand new 2 bedrooms apartment/ Magnifico e novo apartamento T2 is located in Praia, just a 13-minute walk from Cova Figueira Beach and 0.6 miles from Cabo Verde University. Great host, the communication was easy, the apartment was really nice, near from a mini mercado, from a small restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay, and it was a good value for the money.

Just a 15-minute walk from Cova Figueira Beach and 400 yards from Cabo Verde University, Luxe-Design Imperio II- Petit Déjeuner 5min de la Mer features accommodations in Praia with a bar. We had a great stay. Kind hosts, a huge apartment, and rooms in good condition,, everything is good. Also, there are snacks for guests to have a light breakfast. The hosts are really considerate of us and they do quick responses. I highly recommend staying here.

Apartamento Novo, Brand New Apartament T1, Cidadela, Praia, Cabo Verde offers accommodations in Praia, a 13-minute walk from Cova Figueira Beach and 0.6 miles from Cabo Verde University. The appartament was as advertised. Everything brand-new and comfortable. The location is quiet and away from the city center but it is easy to take a taxi.

A good location for a stress-free getaway in Cidade Velha, Cactus Guest House is a guest house surrounded by views of the garden. The house is so beautiful! The location is great, although the surrounding area (streets) is still under construction so it can be rough terrain to walk through to the main village if you are not able to walk well. Spectaculair view of the sea and the waves crashing on the rocky coast. Breathtaking! House is clean and well maintained. Garden too. Multiple rooms are rented out and you share the kitchen, living room and outside area with swimming pool. The coast in town has a little beach but is more a place where the locals put there fishing boats in the water. Sometimes someone swims there and that is possible but it is dark brown beach sand and quite big waves, so we didn’t swim in the sea there. If you rent a car somewhere you would be able to visit other places in the island from Cidade Velha. Staff very friendly and stay out of your way. We didn’t take the breakfast, but there is the possibility. The caretaker showed us the way to the village and the small supermarket shops for some groceries. There isn’t much available, but Praia is very close by (you can take a local white transportation van for only a euro into Praia on the main road) and it is a very nice place to stay away from the big town. We stayed in multiple places in Santiago and thought this was the most beautiful location to stay in the island.
