La baraque Calais is located in Sangatte, just 5.7 miles from Cap Blanc Nez and 19 miles from Cap Gris Nez. Few minutes walk from the beach. Easy access by bike. We stopped here for a night during our family bike trip from Oostende to Boulogne. This place is very close to the Eurovelo 4 (sometimes difficult to follow) cycle path along the coastline. The apartment is comfortable and decorated with taste. Communication with the owner was seamless. Many thanks!

APPARTEMENT 100 M DE LA PLAGE LE PORTEL offers accommodations in Le Portel, a 2-minute walk from Plage du Portel and 2.4 miles from Boulogne-sur-Mer Train Station. If you are reading this comment of mine, it means you are lucky to see this property available. Book it without second thought! The host Thierry is really helpful and accessible. Everything is just great with this apartment, it is close to the beach, well equipped kitchen. Keep in mind that stairs to the 2nd floor in the apartment is a bit steep but with our 2 little kids (4 years and 2 years old), it was not an issue. I also read that some people had difficulty for parking, we were lucky to park very close. It is all free on the street and plenty of parking, however it can indeed be busy during the weekends.

Just a 8-minute walk from Calais Railway Station and 700 yards from Calais Lighthouse, Le Clos des Mouettes features accommodations in Calais with a garden. Very cute, clean and comfortable room in Calais. Delicious breakfast with homemade jam and an assortment of French cheeses to taste. Very friendly and helpful host. Everything was perfect!

Studio plage, vue mer et dragon, garage pour moto is located in Calais, just 6.9 miles from Cap Blanc Nez and 20 miles from Cap Gris Nez. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay. Anne and Jean-Louis picked us up at the ferry terminal and took us for a short tour of Calis before taking us to the studio apartment. The tour was very much appreciated as it oriented us to the city. Upon arrival to the flat, our hosts showed us to the apartment and explained all the details of how things worked. It was a pleasant surprise to have wine and goodies as a welcome gift, thank you Anne! The suite is quite small, but very clean and had everything we needed for a couple nights stay. The fold out futon was comfortable for our length of stay. The location was perfectly situated; close to the beach and the free public transport was steps away from the building. We did use the bus to access some of the points of interest that Anne recommended and really enjoyed walking about. We also really appreciated that our hosts took the time to drive us to the train station the morning of our departure! These extra perks are not often offered by Airbnb hosts, and we have been to many. So we would definitely recommend this location to others.

Après la pluie is a recently renovated guest house in Campigneulles-les-Petites where guests can make the most of the private beach area and garden. The comfort and ease of access, with parking space. A nice big garden for the dog.

Le plage de Notre-Dame - Appartement au coeur de la vieille ville is located in Boulogne-sur-Mer, just 1.3 miles from Boulogne Beach and 16 miles from Cap Gris Nez. What a charming apartment! Cute decor, well equipped, comfy bed, clean and, importantly, warm and cosy in a freezing February. It’s in a great location in the centre of the old town, easy parking. Might be worth commenting on the need to climb two flights of stairs which may be difficult for anyone with limited mobility, but there were excellent handrails and, well, it’s worth the effort!
