Just 15 to 20 minutes outside of Edinburgh. This place is absolutely magnificent. The views are incredible. The apartment is spacious and has anything you could want for. The public transportation just outside across the street on the corner to get into town. Book early as the demand for this apartment is high. Enjoy your travels and enjoy Edinburgh.

Beautifully Renovated Self-Contained Farm Cottage - close to beaches, North Berwick and the Golf Coast is located in North Berwick, just 4 miles from Muirfield and 18 miles from Arthur's Seat. Loved the unit. Nice and clean and quiet. It had everything you needed including a few coffees, snack and cleaning supplies. Loved the fireplace. So sweet and nice touch. Convenient to the train too. Just a stones throw away. Great resources for surrounding area too. Owners were top notch!

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Straven Guesthouse provides accommodations with a shared lounge and free Wifi. Sinead and Chris are probably the best hosts in the world. I slept across the hall from the kitchen / breakfast area and they were able to be very quiet! It's 1min walking to the beach and 3min to the bus stop. The bed was so comfy. The shower nice and hot. For breakfast you can have the usual plus some scottish options, all delicious. Felt safe the whole time as a solo traveller (including bus trip at night). 10/10.

The location is right off the Portobello beach which is a great place for a stroll, cup of coffee, bite to eat, etc. Easy bus ride into Edinburgh Old Town. Would highly recommend if you want a place to stay that is a more peaceful and less crowded than central Edinburgh.
