This place is a luxury, you are treated exceptionally well, the staff is extremely helpful and kind and so very welcoming. The amenities and location are just amazing, you can walk along the beach as it's right across the street, There are only a few rooms so it is very peaceful, the onsens are amazing, the staff made us wonderful ice coffee to relax with outside as well. I wish I could have stayed longer.

ペンション桜家 offers air-conditioned rooms in Shimoda. This guest house provides free private parking and luggage storage space. The guest house features mountain views and a terrace. Beautiful traditional Japanese room with tatami floor and futons (note that you will have to make your bed which is common in Japan). The room was large with large French-doors and beautiful views. The futon beds were very comfortable. What made the difference was the kindness of the owner; very friendly and welcoming. He spoke good English, which made it easy to communicate. He got a hot bath ready for us, which was much appreciated. We really liked this place. We only wish we stayed longer!

The rooms were lovely, well-equipped, and just a 10-minute walk from the beach. Katsu is a very kind, attentive, and helpful host – we truly appreciated his support and interest. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would warmly recommend it to anyone. Thank you so much for the great experience!

Atami Onsen Sakuraya Ryokan is located in Atami, just 16 miles from Hakone-Yumoto Station and 21 miles from Shuzen-ji Temple. Great location, close to everything , very convenient from the train station, beautiful and traditional ryokan, with a lovely sea view room. The staff was very considerate and helpful , a big thank you ! The welcome matcha tea and wagashi, was a delicate attention , we loved it ! The onsen was such a delight after a long day discovering the area. I highly recommend Sakura Ryokan when you are in Atami !
