I had to make an important video call while I was staying there and the WiFi worked perfectly. Also the rooms are sealed up so it’s pretty much impossible to get mosquitos in there unless you leave the door open.

Serendip Villa Holiday Home Talalla Sri Lanka in Talalla South provides accommodations with free bikes and a garden. balcony with a nice view, green surroundings, very good local breakfast, we could use the washing machine and the bikes, we could take the dog for a walk, everyone was very friendly, uncomplicated extention of our stay, the beach in Talalla is quite empty so there are not a lot of tourists there which was perfect for us, we loved our stay!

Jungle Escape Hiriketiya in Hiriketiya provides accommodations with a garden and a terrace. The guest house, set in a building dating back to 2022, provides free Wifi and free private parking. This is a beautiful hostel with amazing views and great clean facilities! It’s been the nicest one I’ve stayed in thus far! So close to the beach and great local restaurants! And the walk there Is beautiful!The hosts were very kind and lovely and even helped me plan my bus route up to ella! I highly recommend and was sad to leave!

King CoCo House features a private beach area and accommodations with a kitchen in Dickwella, a few steps from Batheegama Beach. Family is really nice and helpfully in everything! We had comfortable room with air conditioning and it was very good for us. They made breakfast for us in the morning and it was very delicious. A big recommendation to this lovely family! 😊 would go anytime again there

Surf Lodge Madiha provides beachfront accommodations in Matara. This recently renovated guest house is located a 5-minute walk from Madiha Beach and 20 miles from Hummanaya Blow Hole. The Surf Lodge is beautifully decorated with a lot of love and taste. It offers amazing breakfast and a direct access to the beach. It is managed by the super kind Che who was always very attentive to help us organize a few things around the area. What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away. The grounds and rooms were very nice. Rumesh was super helpful with local tips and helping us book taxis. Within walking distance to Hiriketiya beach and Blue beach.

Parasol dore is a recently renovated guest house in Dickwella where guests can make the most of its infinity pool, free Wifi, private beach area, and water sports. Very nice and quiet place run by a French family with a very welcoming local staff. 3 rooms only decorated with style and where you feel at home. Nice small pool on the (as if private ;)) beach and terrasse upstairs to enjoy amazing breakfast looking at ocean waves. Just 5 minutes away : Turtle point, walking on the beach and Hiriketyia, with Tuktuk, to enjoy swimming, surfing and chilling in nice restaurants. We do recommend !

Just a 2-minute walk from Weligama Beach and 1.1 miles from Kushtarajagala, Boutique Villa Bougainvillea features accommodations in Weligama, with a bar. Absolutely in love with the place that Wounderfull couple is managing! The whole team made out stay incredible and unforgettable, the varied so much about us almost every moment we stepped out of the room. Mr and Mrs Dias are always in the hotel, approachable if you need something. The hotel has a great security, it is not easy for strangers to come in. Also it is located on the Main Street it is very quiet and we slept well. The beach and some good restaurants are just couple minutes walk. The room was clean with everything you need, comfortable beds, hot shower with very good water pressure. Breakfast was very good with small compliments from the chef. We really enjoyed the place and would love to come back to this particular hotel next time we visit Sri Lanka.
