Serendip Villa Holiday Home Talalla Sri Lanka in Talalla South provides accommodations with free bikes and a garden. We planned to only stay a few days but ended up spending a full week at Serendip because we liked it so much. The property is in a quiet, peaceful area and the staff were so friendly! Comfortable room with a/c, nice shared kitchen, delicious breakfasts, washing machine to do laundry. Plus it is within walking distance to Talalla beach which was one of the most beautiful, least crowded beaches we visited on the whole island.

Jungle Escape Hiriketiya in Hiriketiya provides accommodations with a garden and a terrace. The guest house, set in a building dating back to 2022, provides free Wifi and free private parking. This is a beautiful hostel with amazing views and great clean facilities! It’s been the nicest one I’ve stayed in thus far! So close to the beach and great local restaurants! And the walk there Is beautiful!The hosts were very kind and lovely and even helped me plan my bus route up to ella! I highly recommend and was sad to leave!

King CoCo House features a private beach area and accommodations with a kitchen in Dickwella, a few steps from Batheegama Beach. Amazing hosts who were really lovely and provided such a good breakfast! They kept my bags for me after I'd checked out and let me use the washroom and a free room after being at the beach.

Surf Lodge Madiha provides beachfront accommodations in Matara. This recently renovated guest house is located a 5-minute walk from Madiha Beach and 20 miles from Hummanaya Blow Hole. The Surf Lodge is beautifully decorated with a lot of love and taste. It offers amazing breakfast and a direct access to the beach. It is managed by the super kind Che who was always very attentive to help us organize a few things around the area. What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away. Thanks for having us :)

A 5-minute walk from Mirissa Beach in Mirissa, Mimoza Mirissa features accommodations with access to a public bath. This property offers a rooftop pool and free private parking. Everything! The service was top notch, breakfast was amazing.. very clean and well maintained place. They even gave free bicycles to cycle around the area. We just love it 😀

This place is SOO lovely. Feels like a slice of luxury for the price. High ceilings, super spaces villas, felt like a real nice homely spot. So clean, comfortable and stylish. Just 5 mins to the beach and some nice local spots to eat at near by. Would 100% recommend this spot. Family and owner were really lovely and attentive but offer space and privacy as well Also the WiFi is the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka so far! Thanks so much!

Offering a garden, Wilson's Place provides accommodations in Hiriketiya. With garden views, this accommodation features a terrace. Wilson’s place was perfect place to stay, the prices are reasonable and the room is huge, clean and tide. There is a/c and refrigerator, and if you like to get iron they will provide you. There also a water tank you can fill up your water for free. The plus thing you can find in this place is the small garden you can chill or do some yoga. Ramesh was delighted and helpful every time I needed him. Definitely I recommend this place and will come back again.

Parasol dore is a recently renovated guest house in Dickwella where guests can make the most of its infinity pool, free Wifi, private beach area, and water sports. Great location, right by the beach! The beach is great for a swim and less than a 5min walk to Turtle point where you can snorkel and see fish and turtles! Great and varied breakfast with a view. The room is beautifully designed and was kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay!

Just a 2-minute walk from Weligama Beach and 1.1 miles from Kushtarajagala, Boutique Villa Bougainvillea features accommodations in Weligama, with a bar. Absolutely in love with the place that Wounderfull couple is managing! The whole team made out stay incredible and unforgettable, the varied so much about us almost every moment we stepped out of the room. Mr and Mrs Dias are always in the hotel, approachable if you need something. The hotel has a great security, it is not easy for strangers to come in. Also it is located on the Main Street it is very quiet and we slept well. The beach and some good restaurants are just couple minutes walk. The room was clean with everything you need, comfortable beds, hot shower with very good water pressure. Breakfast was very good with small compliments from the chef. We really enjoyed the place and would love to come back to this particular hotel next time we visit Sri Lanka.
