The accommodation was exactly as described. Very comfortable, nice breakfast selection including lovely fresh sourdough bread. Jan recommended heading to the surf beach to see the last of the sun which was beautiful. She also recommended a restaurant/pub for dinner which was perfect for our last night in NZ. To top it all off, the skies were so clear from the garden, we were able to see the Milky Way and millions of stars. A perfect end to our holiday. Thanks for hosting us. Couldn't have been better.

It's a charming little cottage run by a very warm and friendly couple. There are apple trees all over the property and it's clear that the garden is well-tended. The shared kitchen is large and well-furnished. The shared bathroom is incredibly clean, possibly cleaner than my home. You can tell the owners take pride in maintaining the place and do their best to make sure guests have a comfortable stay.

Views to unwind - self contained unit w/king bed offers accommodations in Ruakaka, 17 miles from Whangarei Art Museum and 18 miles from Claphams Clock Museum. The views were beautiful and the unit itself was gorgeous. Nice big windows, super clean, and spacious. Great little kitchenette. Immaculate grounds. Even in proximity to the main house, it felt very private. My husband said it was the best self-contained booking he had ever stayed at for such a price (he was also comparing to AirBnBs)--and I would have to agree. It was in a great location for our next day of exploring too!

Location is awesome if you like being remote.Yet it is only 10min drive to Mangawhai . Beautiful big bed, lovely bathroom and we loved the outlook into the bush from our deck.
