Jake's Place Oneroa Waiheke is located in Oneroa, just a 3-minute walk from Oneroa Beach and 4.6 miles from Wild on Waiheke. Everything was perfect! It has an excellent location, a lovely view, great patio, and the place had everything you could think you needed or didn't even know you needed while traveling abroad. I stayed at several places on my trip to New Zealand and Jake's place was the most detailed with such lovely hosts. I wanted to stay longer. And I fell in love with Waiheke Island. Easy to walk to the beach, town, wineries, tramping tracks, and close to bus stop. I traveled solo and felt so incredibly safe.

AND Wild Thyme was PERFECT in every way! The rooms were well-equipped and comfortable, and were spotlessly clean. The view from the terrace was breathtaking, while the place is located in a convenient area, shops and the beach of Onorea within walking distance. Most of all, Jules and Bruce were great hosts, being attentive and kind. It is all thanks to their welcome, my parents and I truly enjoyed an unforgettable vacation. Another BIG attraction is Jule's Wine Tour! The information is also written on the notebook provided in your room. I highly recommend it to anyone considering staying here. She asked us about our wine preferences in advance and came up with the Perfect plan. We visited Allpress Olive Groves, Tantalus, Man O'War+lunch, Waiheke Gin Distillery and Passage Rock. It may have been partly because it was winter and the wineries were quiet, but Jules arranged with the winery staff to grant our selfish request to try wines(bubbles!) that were not on the regular tasting menu! She even arranged for us to taste limited edition gin at the distillery. She took us to hard-to-reach places in the east and south of the island, such as ManO'War and Passage Rock, where we enjoyed not only the drinks but also the charms of the island as a whole. It's only been a week since I returned home, but I already feel a strong desire to go back.

The Winemaker's Cottage - Coast & Country offers accommodations in Omiha, a 17-minute walk from Okoka Bay Beach and 1.5 miles from Wild on Waiheke. The cottage had character. Very cute and facilities in kitchen plus BBQ area great for evening, if we were not eating out. Great shower and comfortable beds.
