Làm gì Rio de Janeiro

Ipanema Beach
Rio’s impressive mountains form an iconic backdrop to Ipanema Beach, known for its clean sands and diverse crowds. You’ll find all sorts on this gorgeous stretch of coast, including surfers, families and Rio’s famously sun-kissed beauties. Go for a cycle or a run along the boardwalk, then cool off with a swim – just be sure to stick to where the locals are, as there can be an undercurrent.
Red Beach
One of the best spots in Rio to escape the crowds, Red Beach also has an unforgettable view of Sugarloaf Mountain. Head here for a day of relaxing in the sunshine, drinking coconut water from the local stands and watching the waves break against the steeply slanted shore. As the sun sets and lights up the sea with colour, you’ll discover how this peaceful place got its name.
Joatinga Beach
Due to its secluded and hard-to-reach location, Joatinga Beach remains a real hidden gem of Rio. You’ll have to hire a car and then follow a short trail down to the coast, but the scenery is worth the effort. With white sand, rocky outcrops and wild turquoise sea, it’s an idyllic spot to try out some body surfing or watch the surfers from the shore.
Copacabana Beach
One of the most glamurous beaches in Rio de Janeiro.
Botafogo Beach
One of the most famous beaches in Rio de Janeiro and place for some concerts, mainly New Year.
Leblon Beach
At this beach, you can meet local people. It is not a place crowded, but an amazing beach. You can see the hill "Dois Irmãos" at the end of the beach, which provides a wonderful view.

Copacabana Beach
A slice of paradise, the world-famous Copacabana Beach offers up five kilometres of golden sand for you to pound. It’s also a never-ending parade of sunbathers, musclemen and bikini-clad ladies with chihuahuas in tow. If you want to escape the crowds, jog further south and loop around Copacabana Fort, an old army base that hosts triathlons and marathons.
Ipanema Beach
Immortalised in song, Ipanema has always had a lusty allure and strong sense of style. This beautiful beach is a popular weekend hangout for locals and tourists alike. There’s plenty of fun to be had, from impromptu games of ‘keepy-uppy’ and professional-level beach volleyball to simply stretching out and working on your Ipanema tan.
Praia da Barra da Tijuca
If you like a good surfing beach, then Praia da Barra da Tijuca is the place to come during your Rio visit. Known as the longest beach in Rio de Janeiro State, it’s here that hundreds of surfers converge every year for the national surfing championships. Rent a board from a surf shop on the beachfront or just sit down to admire their thrills and spills.

Biển đối với người này có thể sẽ khác đối với người kia. Còn đối với bạn, biển tại Rio de Janeiro có ý nghĩa như thế nào vậy?

It has a special energy. We were there during the Carnival, so it was a bit crowded but still amazing. You can find a spot near one of many bars on the beach so you can hear their music. Water is nice. Most definitely worth visiting.
Beach in Rio means nice white sand, beautiful ocean, beautiful people, some brahma/schol/original and a walk around the beach to make you forget all the stress and tensions you go through....
Was surprised the beach wasn't more crowded but we were not there at the weekend. Great to see the beach well used in the evenings, kids soccer, yoga, aerobics, volley ball and more.
Beautiful sand, white & clean. Warm sea - if you like some rough waves, great! Facilities all over. Brilliant. The 'beach sellers' sold good stuff, & didn't hassle too much.
The beach is not good for swinning. It's a surfers place anda place for locals to do sporting activities. It's one of the bad beaches I have seen all around the world
Clean sandy beaches with clean if not clear sea, spectacular views and beach vendors not too pushy even though quite a few of them - key is don't make eye contact!
Know your posts before going to the beach. From post 1 to 13, each one attracts a different demographic. Visit as many as you can!
Beach was a really so able place n suitable for all people. Very family orientated especially at the weekends.
sun and swim only , got a hit on by a couple of gays , but I am not into this, so I politely sent them away
The relaxed way people enjoy the day on the beach! You can buy everything: Food, drinks, dresses and etc.
