off the beaten track (1.6km from town) but a great hotel, nice facilities and the garden tour was incredible. the rooms are nice and spacious and the hammock is really comfortable. breakfast was great (they even made us package to take away) and dinner was good too. overall a great experience!

I ❤️ Mr. Willis Rankin the 1st. He is so funny, nice and knows so much about Tortuguero. The bed was so comfortable and it was even a bit chilly at night with the fan on.

Nice comfortable room. Nice outside area. Possibility to use kayaks for free. If you use them at the same day you do the tour, you can enter the national park yourself. Breakfast everyday, also very early when we needed it. Also the night walk was definitely worth it!

Cooper the manager was really knowledgable about the area and arranged all the best transportation and tours for us with the best guides! Its exactly what you need in a place like Tortuguero where the fun lies in the expeditions you take. Our breakfast was delicious and always ready right when we finished the morning tours which was really thoughtful and appreciated. Moreover, as a lesbian couple, we're always a bit weary of hotel staff when we travel but it was not the case here - everyone was so friendly and we would definitely qualify this hotel as LGBT-friendly :)
