I enjoyed my 6 night stay here for a number of reasons. The hosts Birgitta and Harry are very friendly and we had good conversations. Birgitta prepared breakfast for me, even though it was not offered with my reservation. She also washed and dried my clothes! They lent me a bicycle without charge for the entire time I was there, and that made my stay in Åland much more special. I enjoyed several mornings on the terrace of the large communal lounge/dining/kitchen area which faces the sea. It is very peaceful and I loved the birds on the water stirring and cackling in the morning. I would highly recommend here for a relaxing and scenic stay, about 12 kilometers outside of Mariehamn.

The property was a clean, well maintained historic reflection of the past. It is located close to the ferry. The staff was very welcoming, and friendly. There were many choices for breakfast and it was delicious. There was a sauna on the property which we enjoyed.
