Hotels that guests love in Falmouth
  • I loved everything - while this wasn't the most glamorous or fancy hotel I've ever stayed, I think this must be the nicest one I've ever stayed in. Everything was perfect - I loved the manor, the staff were all very nice, I slept very well, the wifi was good, the beach was near, Falmouth town centre was near, the steam room, the pool, and the gym were nice, the breakfast was great. Excellent!

  • Great location for both Gylly beach (1 min walk) and Falmouth town (about 10 mins walk), lovely sea view. Decent breakfast with great views out over the beach.

  • Great staff who showed a 'real' interest. We know Falmouth well and chose the accommodation for it's location, in easy walking distance to the town and the beach. Breakfast was as good as it gets!

  • Lovely friendly b&b making us feel at home straight away and a tasty filling breakfast every morning! Excellent location to the town, the beach and rock pools. Sited on the A road it is easy to find and to get out exploring the rest of Cornwall! Next time in Falmouth we will definitely be staying again!

  • Very friendly helpful staff. Great location for Falmouth Town and Gillyvase and Swanpool beaches.

The beach means different things to different people. What did the beach in Falmouth mean to you?

Community and fun. I would swim most days off Gylly beach with friends and sit around campfires with friends at night, we would often have bbqs on warmer nights or watch the sunrise. The best way to end a night out was to go down onto the beach in the dark and listen to the waves or go for a cheeky swim. Obviously be very careful under the influence of alcohol if you plan to go nightswimming and don't go alone!
Sandy with lifeguard, good beach cafe, beach hire, occasional surf, pleasant gardens behind. Can get crowded as quite small. Castle beach quitter but more rocky - great for snorkelling.
Braches very small - should imagine packed in summer. Apparently gyllingvase beach great for breakfast.
Crystal clear water; Watersports; Fine sand
Sitting on beach watching the sea .
