The beach means different things to different people. What did the beach in Sandown mean to you?

This is not a wildlife beach, for that head to the west of the Isle, toward Compton Bay via a stop by Yarmouth marshes and Yaverland. A cliff top path from Compton can take you to see the biggest pearl in the world! And, if you are lucky you'll see a rare species of butterfly.
Sandy beach with plenty of deckchairs and sun beds . All at very reasonable prices
Sandy beach, great for barefoot walking along the shore. Shells. Peace & calm.
Nice, clean, sandy beaches, not crowded even though the weather was glorious.
