Things to do Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik Copacabana Beach
Copa Cabana Beach This public beach is a great place to come and see weekend water polo matches in the Dubrovnik league. Water Polo is a huge sport in Croatia, and each beach around the city has its own team. There is also a small cafe and waterslides here. A great place to watch the big yachts sailing into the new port.
Banje Beach
Pristine sand and a beautiful sea. That’s what you’ll find at Banje Beach, just outside the city walls. It’s extremely popular with visitors, yet the golden sands extend so far that there’ll be plenty of room to relax, unwind and work on your tan. Stick around after dark for dance tunes, cocktails and canapés at the chic East West Beach Club.
Lokrum
Island situated 600 meters from the city of Dubrovnik. Lokrum is a famous nature reserve with a botanical garden, Benedictine Monastery and Fortress dating to the 19th century.

The beach means different things to different people. What did the beach in Dubrovnik mean to you?

We went to a 'Rocky' beach which was at the EastWest Beach club closest to our hotel and rented a daybed for about 300 kunas. However - with that we got refreshed towels, and two water bottles which was perfect for the heat, they also have rooms for umbrellas and are a step away from the sea!
There are only 1 or 2 very small sandy beaches. Most of them are of the rocks. Walk away from the old town to find the best ones.....
Amazing clear water. Also some great beaches within a thirty minute drive from the old town, great to explore if you have a car
Stony beach in Lapad so jelly shoes are needed but it's a bay so the sea is calm and great for swimming
You can enjoy the city, and take time to relax on the beach water sports are available for water babies
An hour away from the Elaphite islands with fishermen villages, beautiful empty beaches.
gorgeous clear water, pebbles beaches
Snorkelling and sun sets
Pebble beaches are the main in dubrovnik. A few sandy ones, but small and man made. All beautiful though, lovely green Adriatic waters.

Pebble beaches
Lapping turquoise waters and pebble shores. Banje Beach is bedecked with loungers for those who want to sprawl in the sun and give their feet a break from the scorching stones.
