Hotel was 20 mn taxi ride from bus station and by Gyeongpo Beach.You can use a bus to get there from the station or train station if you do not have too much luggage. Room was comfortable. Staff are professional, accomodating and speak English. Nice walks around the lake in front of the hotel.

The apartment was very comfortable and the owners were incredibly friendly. We were able to have our cat with us as well (for a fee). WiFi connection was excellent. The place is within driving distance of Gangneung.

I love how big the hotel with 3 towers divided into Lake, Pine, Ocean Tower. Guests can park on the basement or the higher level parking area. Check-in was so smooth and fast that we only need few minutes. This time we got the Lake Tower for 16th floor (half ocean view) and 6th floor (back view). The hotel has a ice cube machine and microwave machine provided on 8th floor. The amenities were good but they do not provide the toothbrush, sandal, toothpastes which you can buy with vending machine on each floor near elevators or convenience store on 1st floor (which is more less expensive than the vending machine). The hotel and the beach is very near and great to have a nice walk with great view. To the left side there are restaurants and cafes near by just by walking the beach. To the right side with a distance you can visit the cafe street. The hotel provide you with self check-in and checkout processes which is very convenient.

Gyungpo Soo Hotel is set in Gangneung, with Gyeongpo Beach just across the street and Gyoengpo Lake 328 feet behind the hotel.

The location was the best part, literally a straight walk out the door onto the beach. Plus there were many great restaurants around the area. The staff were very nice and very helpful, a group of chatty nice guys! This place is pretty much my go-to for going to Gangneung/Gyeongpo

It is a very nice place to go with a family. Very hospitable, kind and personally nice hosts. It is quite a quiet place located very close to the beach. You can see the sea and hear it right from your window. I really enjoyed my stay there.
