The property and the staff were wonderful

Hussain and staff were excellent, so kind and very helpful! Anything you needed they were able to quickly organise for us, boats, boards, excursions… Rooms are very clean and spacious with great AC and big windows. Definitely the best place to stay, and the price is very reasonable. We will be back!

Our stay in Himmafushi was absolutely magical, and it all started with Kona, who greeted us warmly at the dock. From the moment she picked us up, her kindness and attention to detail set the tone for an unforgettable trip. Kona went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and special—she even helped arrange our travel back and forth from the hotel, making everything stress-free. The hotel itself exceeded our expectations in every way. The waiter was attentive and friendly, while the chef's creations were nothing short of phenomenal. Each meal was a culinary delight, with fantastic flavors and beautiful presentations. Housekeeping was impeccable, timing their service perfectly when we were out exploring, so we always returned to a spotless room. The beach was pure bliss: pristine sands, crystal-clear waters, and, best of all, tranquility. Most of the time, it felt like we had the entire beach to ourselves, with only a few others around. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the natural beauty. One of the highlights of our trip was the candlelight dinner Kona and the staff arranged for us right on the beach. The soft lighting, gentle music, and full-service setup created an intimate and magical atmosphere. It was the perfect way to celebrate our one-year anniversary, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Tips for Travelers: Bring some cash or exchange for local currency at the airport; most places accept USD or the local currency. Get a SIM card at the airport for reliable internet access—it was a lifesaver for us. For transportation: After collecting your luggage, turn left when exiting the secure area. Walk past the information booth and Burger King, then cross the road to the taxi area. You can take a taxi to Male and then a boat to Himmafushi or, depending on the time, a ferry directly from the airport. Private speedboats are also available.

Great place to stay if you are surfing on the island and nearby breaks. Ayya is a nice host, will organize boats or anything else you need. The rooms are simple but have everything you need. Close to the restaurants, everything is walkable. Would definitely stay again 🤙🏼

Our stay at the OBLU Experience Ailafushi was nothing short of spectacular, beginning with a warm welcome right from the airport, where the staff greeted us with smiles and kindness. The speedboat ride to the hotel was equally impressive, with attentive staff ensuring a seamless transfer. Upon arrival at the hotel, the reception was exceptionally warm and inviting. The Water Villa where we stayed was superb, offering comfort and stunning views of the crystal-clear waters. The hotel environment is breathtaking, making every moment feel like paradise. The convenience of a shuttle service traversing the island was an added luxury that greatly enhanced our mobility and experience. Dining at the hotel was a delight, with a copious, varied, and utterly delicious buffet that catered to all tastes. Daily events kept us engaged and entertained throughout our stay, adding a dynamic aspect to the leisurely pace. The checkout process was streamlined and efficient, capping off a flawless stay. Special thanks to the entire staff, particularly Haydhee and Ismael, who provided exceptional care and attention. They went above and beyond to ensure the comfort of my pregnant wife, making our stay even more comfortable and memorable. Their thoughtful gestures and considerate service truly stood out and made a significant impact on our overall experience. We are immensely grateful for their kindness and professionalism. It was better than we expected! All started even before the trip, in Booking messages where the staff asked more so they can prepare for us even better (our food limitations, date and time of arrival and departure, any preferences and requests, ...). When we arrived we were greeted by our lovely host Sony and she was our person to go to for any questions and requests. Each day you would get a message from her with the day's plan and program. The island is quite big and you can walk, see and use quite of facilities - few a la carte restaurants, beach bar, coffee shop, water sports, snorkeling point, gym, sauna and more. The food was really nice. We fell in love with the fresh fruits since e.g. that taste of pineapple you wont get anywhere (or other fruits). Quite of varierities in the food, while some were repeated but we loved it anyway so no problem for us. Regarding the fresh water you would get 1.5 litre of bottled water in every meal. We had full board so you can have at up to 4.5 litres of fresh water only from that. The rest was in our apartment where our lovely mister Pradeep filled every day during the apartment cleanup. We usually had 4 or 5 glass bottles (1 litre each) and this depends on your water consumption, but the thing is - it's included and not additionally charged. You can buy same bottled water you drink in the main restaurant but it is not really needed. I am writing about the water since I read quite of concerns in other resorts and islands. Back to mr Pradeep. Usually there are 2 cleanups in a day, but for us this was overkill so we decided with Pradeep to have only one. But he would clean your apartment twice if you ask him without any issues. Our request was mostly for clean towels, new fresh water and toiletries if needed. But you would get bed cleanup, floor in the apartment and outside along with the pool deck sweeping, along with other clothes folds if lying on bed.

We were very happy with the service we got and had a very enjoyable time in Huraa. The staff were very friendly & very attentive. They even helped us celebrate our anniversary. I loved the location as well, it was beachfront. The rooms were kept very clean.

Wonderful accommodations and staff. Restaurants were great. Airport transfer was quick and effortless. Great pool. Great beach.
