The breakfast was the largest and best free breakfast we have ever had at a hotel! The historic side of the hotel was fantastic for a coffee/tea break and meals. We had a very large (two-bedroom) suite in the newer wing of the hotel. It included a kitchen where we baked a supermarket pizza one evening. The balcony had a beautiful view looking down the fjord.

Located right by The Hardangerfjord, Hardanger Feriesenter offers barbecue facilities and free WiFi. Opening to a terrace with mountain views, all units are fitted with a kitchen with an oven.

Beautiful room (Japanese style apartment).. nice host.. excellent location with great views and all facilities.. wish weather was on our side to enjoy the facility better( was raining all day when we were there :( )

The view from the hotel was spectacular. It was a quick and easy drive to Nordheimsund, which is where many tours take off. Like many other hotels in Norway, there is a wide and excellent selection for breakfast. Something for everyone. We had to leave earlier on our final morning before the start of breakfast but they had everything set out for us to self-serve. The restaurant was delicious but a bit pricey. This is typical of Norway, however. The pool at the connecting sports facility was convenient and fun.

The location, the cabin, the available facilities and things we could use (fishing rods, bicycles, toiletries), it was all amazing! The host was also very welcoming and encouraged us to use the fishing rods, even helped us find our way up one of the mountains nearby! The area is super secluded, so if that's something you enjoy I totally recommend this place!
