Its a beautiful and unique property in a perfect location in the Barranco Arts District. Its filled with great art by Peruvian artist Victor Delfin. He still lives on the premises and you can meet him. I love the warmth and true hospitality that I was shown.

Friendly staff and very clean hostel. It is very small and there is a cozy terrace where you can watch sports and have some drinks at the bar. Prices are very decent and the location is pretty good. For coworkers it is very good the terrace because there are many plugs and the Wi-Fi is super fast. I will definitely stay again!

Safe neighborhood within 25 minutes walk to Parque Kennedy and 15 minutes walk to the ocean.. Very clean, quiet and friendly staff. Breakfast is basic with eggs, bread, jam, juice, coffee and tea. They have filtered water and a kitchen. Shower was hot. Also bicycles to use. They can do laundry for a small fee. They also accommodated very late /early morning check-in.

Casa Azul provides beachfront accommodations in Lima. Housed in a building dating back to 1967, this apartment is 4.8 miles from Museum of the Nation and 6.4 miles from San Martín Square.

Things I liked... location, close to the sea, lighthouse, Chinese park, beach access (steep walk down). Lovely neighborhood with restauarants and coffee shops. Easy to walk to areas of Miraflores. The one suggestion I have for prospective customers is to ask for the apartment seen in specific photographs as here are several in the building that differ in size, shape, aesthetics etc. Originally we were given an apartment that was more like a big hotel room with a baby's crib. We asked if we could change to one with a kitchen. Hosts were very gracious and give us a choice of all avaialble, so we eventually got the one we thought we'd agreed to. Rosa helped us and was charming, and provided a reasonably priced laundry service.

The check-in time at the hotel is until 23.30. We were late, and the girl at the reception waited for us until midnight. She was very nice and polite, it felt like we were welcome. In the morning we realized that we needed a late check-out, and they organized it for us without any problems for a small surcharge. The hotel itself is in a historical building, probably from the 19th century, it is a very atmospheric place.
