This is arguably one of the very best locations in Tahiti!! The private studio opens out onto a small yard and deck that is just a few steps from a gorgeous lagoon. The studio is a short drive (~20 min) from the airport, but just outside the more heavily developed touristy areas of Tahiti. We took long walks on the beach, and encountered just a small handful of friendly neighbors. There were kayaks available for use, and it was like kayaking in an aquarium! No need to snorkel because the water was so clear that we could see everything below us from the kayak through the crystal clear water. We enjoyed morning coffee and sunsets on the deck, gazing across the water to the view of Moorea. The fully equipped indoor/outdoor kitchen makes it possible to cook your meals, if that's what you prefer, and there is a grocery store just across the road. The studio itself is spacious and seems to have been recently remodeled and very clean. The owner lives in the adjacent house. She does not speak much English, but had her brother, who speaks excellent English, come by to make sure we had everything we need. He was super nice, and cut coconuts from the tree for us to drink! We recommend bringing water shoes for swimming because there is coral and rocks.

The property key was easy to find along with the gate opener! We checked in late so it was dark. We did need a flashlight to find it which was totally fine - just make sure your phone battery is charged! The kitchen was well equipped for us to cook dinner both nights we were there. Host was very responsive via Booking App. Wifi was excellent and allowed me to do some work during the evenings!

Our hosts were exceptional every way; accommodating, considerate, and kind. We loved to wake up to the sound of the waves and the artfully designed breakfast consisting of seasonal local fruits, baguettes, coffe/tea, juice and condiments. Private access to the beach and the neighboring grocery store was a huge plus!

Just a 11-minute walk from Toaroto Beach and 500 yards from Museum of Tahiti, Arbre a pain Beach Lodge features accommodations in Punaauia with a garden.

The owner was lovely and communicated very well . I asked for an early check on and he did what could to facilite that and was so helpful .

Check in was a breeze - Teihotu picked us up at the airport! The property is clean and comfortable and the alarm clock (roosters!) are fully functional. It is located within a family compound so you experience the local way of life instead of the homogeneous hotel experience. There are plenty of restaurants, food trucks, grocery stores, etc within walking distance. Teihotu is very accommodating and available without being intrusive.

There was no breakfast at this location. It is a short walk to the beach but you'll want a car to go further than the beach.

Very functional apartment with great AC in bedrooms, kitchen well stocked, useful washer for clothes, steps from the grocery store, and although the private beach was rock, not sand, I watched beautiful sunsets over Moorea, and had surprisingly good snorkeling with fish, anemone ,and corals. Taxi rides to airport 3,000, and same price to ferry dock for day trip on Moorea
