I recently celebrated my birthday at Eco Camp Dos Playa on Darocotan Island, and it was an unforgettable experience! The place is perfect for anyone who wants to disconnect and fully immerse in the island’s natural beauty. It is great for solo travelers, couples and even families. And I loved meeting other guests from around the world, even celebrated my birthday with another guest! Roselyn and William are truly hands-on hosts. They made sure we were well taken care of, and the food was fantastic—William’s authentic Italian cuisine and the fresh seafood were some of the best I’ve had. The location is breathtaking, with vibrant coral reefs to explore and twin beaches that offer both sunrise and sunset views. At night, the stargazing is simply magical. I should have booked more than just one night, but since it was a last-minute trip, I’ll definitely be back soon! Some other guests even extended their stay, which shows just how much everyone enjoyed and appreciated staying at Eco Camp Dos Playa. I couldn’t have asked for a better, more peaceful getaway!

I’ve been traveling in el nido for two weeks now and love everything the place has to offer, starting my journey from the town area and then ending it in Nacpan Beach. Nacpan Beach Villas is brand new (staff explained they just opened beginning of October) and it couldn’t have been a better place to finish this trip. The Villas are literally 200 meters to the beach (see pictures) and the view and ambience is just spectacular. Breakfast is provided in the Sunmai restaurant besides the restaurant with standard local offerings. I would recommend staying here just on views alone, to get away from the noise and everything else and to relax and soak it all in. The staff greet you with big smiles and a selfie (this is true Filipino hospitality) and they were so helpful in explaining all the “where to go/what to dos”. Can’t wait to revisit this resort villa again in the future.

The staff are exceptional! Very welcoming, helpful and fun to have a chat with and the food is very good with great variety. The owner is a top chap and has done a great job with building this isolated resort with the local community. Make sure to have a beer or two with him when he's around.There's mangroves just around the corner and if you feel to paddle a bit further out you can reach cathedral cave (about 4kms) on one of the free kayaks they offer. Great place if you are looking for some calm and quiet from the usual crowded places and enjoy an amazing view and drinks in the pool! Highly recommended.

The hospitality was amazing! The owner arranged for me very late arrival ( after 23:00 pm) and the next day after an exhausted trip they allowed me to take my breakfast i was entitled to at 3 pm ! The room was amazing! Clean, no bugs! Just in from of the ocean!

Location is so beautiful and peaceful! The beach is secluded with warm waters and crystal blue waters. The evening sky was filled with bright stars. Owners are very kind and hospitable. Food and drinks onsite so no need to ever leave the resort.

We were lucky enough to be in the only room that directly faces the beach - I loved being able to sit at the balcony and view the craziness of El Nido from a distance! The room had airco, a fan, a fridge, and access to potable water, which is always not the case in places in Palawan. I loved that we could close the huge window/door, see the see and the beach and not being seen during the day (once you experience it, you'll know what I mean!). Make sure you request the room with the balconi on the beach! The location is perfect, as it it is right before the craziness in town starts. The owner was extremely kind and helpful! She even noticed we were trying to leave a day earlier :D! The room and the entire place was extremely clean, with bed-sheets changed every day and a nice smell of laundry all day long. I highly recommend this place if you want to adventure in the crazy. mass-tourism, El Nido town!
