Location was great, villa with lagoon pool was amazing. Staff was very helpful and super nice and we got even a dedicated staff member named Grace that we could personally contact on any topic or request we had. Awesome breakfast with a wide range of options including gluten free food.

Pond (the manager) is a delightful, truly exceptional lady. She (and her family) made such a huge, positive difference throughout both of our stays. We can't say enough good things about her. Nono (the chef) was cheerful, helpful, and provided much better than expected food at the on-site restaurant. Many of the dinners we had there were delicious. The breakfast buffet has a good variety of choices. Esmeralda is a beautiful property with bungalows that are rustic, charming, and (mostly) functional. *Make sure you confirm exactly which class of bungalow you're booking so there are no surprises when you get there*. We stayed twice within a 3 week period, in the deluxe C-3 and the corner deluxe B-4 (spa bathtub!). Absolutely beautiful views from both units. Complete privacy (except for the geckos ;) Both had well-functioning AC. The bungalows could use a bit more maintenance, but nothing too major or unexpected for an island property. We appreciated that the staff took seriously the few minor issues that did come up. They really care about their guests.

The staff were so accommodating. Absolutely everyone we met was lovely. It’s a smaller resort between two larger ones. And especially enjoyed the personal pool we had. We did enjoy the restaurant very much especially the Indian food.

The staff was amazing. They arranged a lot of complicated transfers for us which allowed us to relax and not worry. Room was beautiful with private pool and deck steps to ocean. Restaurant was great and staff very friendly.

This resort is a heaven on earth. Loved every detail of the resort from the entrance to room facilities to dining and the activities. Its a great value for money. We booked on BB but got Room: We got a room with outdoor bathtub. Also the whole room feels like you are in a aromatic spa. We checked out on time from room, but we stayed for extra hours and they still let us enjoy all hotels facilities under our booking which is great. And we got 1000TBH credit as well for spa and restaurant. Meals: Dinner and lunch on ala carte which is the best cost friendly option. Their dinner restaurant are so nice with having seating by the beach, and with free fire shows by the night to enjoy. As for the lunch too they have beach seating as well as indoor options. Their meal ordering system is very modern with everything goes with QR and online process, and final amounts added to your room bill. Their meal selection for the breakfast is huge! They give free massages during your breakfast session. Also they have free yoga, thai dance ans thai fight classes. Spa: They have lots of spa options, and best is the happy hour treatment you get at very good rate. Pool: Their main pool was great with lots of of sunbeds around and scenic view. Transport: We got stuck with a traffic and came very last minute to boat. But hotel staff kept us and taxi driver well coordinated with boat team to make sure we don’t miss the boat.
