Liked how peacefull it was ,Was definitely an eco friendly place. Activity offered was great such as Dolphins watching . Staff were brilliant and food was really nice

My wife and I went to Kwanza Resort for our honeymoon, and it was the most amazing holiday we ever had. Everything was perfect. First, the location. On the south of the island, Kwanza is quiet and overlooks beautiful turquoise waters of different hues. We did not tire of observing the horizon. Second, the setting. The resort is gorgeous, with flowers and tropical plants everywhere, and elegant buildings that fit within the landscape. Third, the activities. Aside from the ocean, in which one can swim, snorkel, cruise, observe dolphins, the hotel has sports facilities, spa, yoga and cocktail classes, and daily evening music performances.100 meters away from the resort is the Salam Cave, in which one can feed and swim with turtles. Fourth, and most importantly, the people. The Kwanza staff is full of kind, warm, thoughtful and fun people which made our stay incredible. They were all amazing, and we are grateful to all of them for the ways in which they made our stay so magical. Special mention goes to Wilfred, who generously gave us tons of information and good advice. Similarly, the bar team was amazing and fun, and we will miss their fantastic cocktails (try the local dawa cocktail). Thank you to Rashid, Jamal, Queen, Zacharia, Jackson, Robert and all the others! And finally, the restaurant team was fantastic in making sure that we were always taken care of. Thank you to Latifa, Jacob, Fredy, the two Neemas, Mary, Felister, Clever, Masoud, Rehema and all the others. A special thanks to the executive chef, who cooked us a special and delicious dinner one evening. Our honeymoon would not have been nearly as amazing if these people hadn't been there. They treated us with the highest form of hospitality and kindness, and we cannot wait to see them again. My wife and I could not have imagined better for our honeymoon and I am sure that we are not the only ones. In short, do not hesitate, go to Kwanza!

My bungalow was tropical, with stunning ocean views. I felt like I was living in a tropical dream world. With beautiful palms and lounging areas next to the pool.

I liked the resort, and the service provided by the staff, from reception till room service, the resort is very clean and nice, quit and safe. Thanks for all the staff in the resort they were very lovely, especially Ms Gladness, Mr Yousef, Mr Nasser and Ms Eka. Definitely will visit it again soon.

Everything was out of this world. The stuff was great. Breakfast, rooms, pool… just impeccable!

My exceptional experience all started prior to check in. I was contacted by Sophia inquiring about my early arrival and transport from the airport to the hotel. She made sure all my needs are met. This hotel is located in the south west of the Zanzibar Island, and away from the busy tourist area. The bungalows are exceptionally well designed and very comfortable. I felt like living in a tree house. Its clean and the staff are very responsive and friendly. The food at the restaurant is exceptionally great and made of locally grown ingredients. Highly recommended!! The full experience was exceptional, since the moment we arrived we were welcomed with a big smile. The staff Bella and Petty made us feel home, their professionalism made our stay very unique. The chef Kim was really good we enjoyed every meal we had, everything served was fresh and delicious. The location is very calm for those seeking a getaway from life noises and chaos. For the time being, there are a total of four rooms so it is very quiet it felt like we had the place for ourselves. Watching the sunset while enjoying the calm music and the served fresh drinks was a truly heartwarming experience. Thank you for the amazing experience, would definitely come back again!!

Amazing location and value for money. All the surrounding places cost twice as much. The owner was super attentive and helped us find a good captain/low price to go swimming with the dolphins. It was only a 5 minute walk on the beach to get to the boats who would take us. Breakfast was lovely, the view was beautiful, the bed was comfy, overall a really lovely stay.
