I cannot even start to count why this was the best vacation my husband and I ever had. Let’s see. Starting from the owners and the staff, we became friends and really felt so incredibly welcome, after some time being at Mem Hotel felt like being home and with our own family. Such wonderful, kind and good hearted people! The room was perfect, very very comfortable beds, the room service cleaned every day and changed the sheets, we had fresh towels and water bottles every single day. The breakfast was AMAZING, fresh fruits, some even picked from the garden of the hotel. Coming out of the room we had a swimming pool, that was kept clean absolutely all the time. The way to the beach was super short and very beautiful, almost like an adventure itself. Paje beach is one of the most beautiful beaches we have ever been to and Zanzibar is the only place in the world that my husband and I keep wanting to come back to! Thanks to the whole team of MEM Hotel that gave us such a wonderful experience. Thank you so much!

We loved the staff. Mahmoud and Anthony made us feel at home. The place is in great condition and the breakfast is delicious. Our WiFi connection worked well and the view was beautiful. I would recommend this place for sure.

The room was right in front of the beach. Perfect view. The staff were extremely friendly and the breakfast was tasty. Special thank you to Sweetie and Kevin for being extra nice and helpful. I would definitely come back here again.

First and foremost, the hotel rooms are exceptional and exceeded my expectations. The bed was so comfortable and I liked the softness of the pillows. They also have a full length mirror which is perfect. The breakfast and dinner were beyond amazing, very fresh and tasty. I loved the swimming pool and did not want to get out. The staff are one of a kind and they really went out of their way to make us feel special and welcome. Lastly, the peaceful atmosphere is unmatched.

We had such a wonderful time here. The moment we arrived we felt right at home. We stayed at 4 properties during our trip in Zanzibar, but staying at Meraki was by far the best experience we had. Clean room, extremely wonderful hosts, location right on the beach with access to many places to hang out. Bonus point: Joe makes a mean cocktail:).

We absolutely loved our stay at Maisha Matamu. The location in Paje is fantastic, and the hotel itself has a cozy, boutique feel that makes you instantly relax. Check-in was smooth, parking was easy, and every member of the staff—from reception to restaurant to security—was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The rooms are very close to the beach, so it is super convenient to pop back and forth during the day. The bar and restaurant are close to the sunbeds, which made the service impressively fast—something we really appreciated. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and overall we had a wonderful time.
