This property is cozy and adorable. It is perfect for both families and couples and gives the perfect amount of nostalgia for the Tahoe I remember as a kid. The family that operates this property is so helpful and kind and makes the whole experience feel like you are visiting friends. My kids loved the s’mores around the fire pit at night, playing cornhole with new friend, the vintage games inside the lobby, and the free flowing hot chocolate. My sister and I enjoyed the bikes available to take out the bike trail to Tallac House right outside the door and the thoughtful and unique touches to the decorations in each room. We love Fireside and can’t wait to come back next summer.

Very nice upgraded corner suite room overlooking Lake Tahoe. Awesome balcony and bright windows - was relaxed from morning until evening. Thanks to the staff who offered the upgrade, reason for extending another day. Walkable to restaurants, CVS, Safeway, a short drive to town... Love it!!!

There were lots of nice surprises and small details at the hotel that were very pleasant. Robes for the hot tub, heated bathroom floors and heated toilet seat, fireplace with seating area in the room, free shuttle around town, and free hot beverage bar in the lobby. These made our stay feel extra special and luxurious.

The double room we got was spacious and clean, the staff was really nice and important (for some) to mention that they have a Tesla Charger free of charge.

I loved to stay there. Hotel served good breakfast, everything is clean, it is very peaceful place to stay.
