It was close to everything but far enough that there was no traffic noise or music from the local clubs. Filtered water and coffee offered daily was great and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The location is great, far away from the party but close enough to get some groceries or to go on the beach. But the best of all is Gonzalo, the owner of the place. Situated nearby beautiful beach, amongst forest that is full of animals such as monkeys, parrots and sloths. We didn’t even have to go to the national park to actually see them, they were above our heads. Delicious breakfast, fresh fruits, tasty coffee and vegetarian options in the menu. The hotel is located 10 km from Puerto Viejo which is good because there is the sense of omnipresent calmness and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend!
