I recently had the pleasure of staying at Holiday Apartments, Polynikis Sea-Cret, in the serene village of Pachyammos on the stunning coast of Greek Cyprus, and I cannot express my gratitude enough to the incredible hosts. My main motivation for this getaway was to escape the hustle and bustle of city life, seeking calmness and a connection with nature. Pachyammos turned out to be the perfect haven for just that. Nestled in this tiny village, the Holiday Apartments provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the start. Arriving in late November 2023, I found the beach adjacent to the property to be a vast and secluded paradise. The clean sea water was inviting, and I relished the luxury of having the entire beach to myself. The enormity of the beach coupled with the absence of crowds created a tranquil setting for unwinding. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the national park trails leading to the majestic mountains. Hiking and climbing rewarded me with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The sheer beauty of the scenery, coupled with the crisp, fresh air, made for an unforgettable experience. The solitude and tranquility at the mountain's peak allowed me to connect with nature in a way that I had long yearned for. The local people of Pachyammos added to the charm of the place. Their warmth and hospitality enhanced my overall experience, making me feel like a welcomed guest rather than a tourist. As a nature lover, this destination exceeded my expectations. The place provided a comfortable and cozy retreat after days filled with exploration. The nights were equally enchanting, with a beautiful starlit sky enhancing the overall ambiance. I extend my heartfelt thanks to the hosts for their kindness and hospitality. I feel a bit sad revealing a secret that I'd like to keep to my friends, but not sharing it would be unfair to the owner. This place is a real hidden gem. In my opinion, it's one of the best locations in Cyprus. Mountains on one side, very calm and beautiful sea on the other side. A flat in a beautiful house, overlooking the sea. It's about 20 meters above the sea, but the place is so quiet and the property is so close to the sea that you can always hear the waves, both when you fall asleep and when you wake up. The sea is very calm on this side of Cyprus. In addition, Pachiamos is located in a bay. There is a trail right from the house, leading to a small beach, about 100 metres wide, surrounded by two rocks, making it a kind of a private beach for 3 houses located above. The entrance to the sea is a bit rocky, with two rocks standing out on the right hand side 20-30 metres from the shore. It was not a problem when I was staying (late October), as the sea was extremely calm, but if there are waves, you may want to go to another beach, just 150-200 metres from the property, at your right. The beach is small pebbles, but from about 40 metres the sea bottom becomes sand. I swam about 400 metres from the shore, and I could still clearly see the sea bottom. Although we stayed in late October, I believe the place is quiet even in high season. The reason is that there only a few houses around, and the village is pretty small. Thank you from Alex.

A beautiful, renovated authentic house in a very peaceful village, surrounded by mountains with a breathtaking view of the sea . The house is clean, comfortable , fully equipped (including a washing machine) , very homey, with a fireplace in the leaving room, and A/C in the bedroom, and a very good WiFi. There is a lovely terrace as well as a spacious patio, where you can relax watching the open view spreading from the mountains to the sea. You can dine in or out in the patio or just relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The hosts were very welcoming and warm-hearted. Thank you for your welcoming hospitality.

Velmi milí hostitelé, úžasný výhled – na terase jsme trávili celé hodiny. Ubytování působí jako doma. Vybavení je starší, ale velmi zachovalé, nám to přišlo kouzelné. Kuchyň je plně vybavená včetně základních surovin (olej, sůl apod.). Pláž je jen pár minut chůze. Žádní sousedé, naprostý klid. Vesnice je příjemná a lidé velmi přátelští. V listopadu jsme měli celou pláž kam oko dohlédne skoro celý den jen pro sebe.

Tento hotel s 2 hvězdičkami nabízí pokojovou službu, službu concierge a bezplatné Wi-Fi.... The staff were really friendly and helpful. Loved that the hotel was beside a beach and there were facilities to shower and wash the sand off before re-entering the hotel. Food was very good, even for a vegetarian.

For self catering it has all the necessary equipment. I found the premises very clean and an extension lead was supplied upon request. The size of the pool is sufficient enough and the pool bar prices are reasonable for both drinks and snacks. I will definitely be returning.
