On Aleta is located right next to the beach. Most of the rooms face the ocean and have a balcony to sit out and enjoy the view. The bar on the top floor also offers lounge chairs for sunbathing and has a pool. They also rent paddle boats, beach chairs, cycles, and whatnot at a marginal rate. Covered parking is a bonus, but it is chargeable. The rooms are clean and are maintained well, and the housekeeping staff is quick to clean the rooms every day. The mini fridge has a few free drinks and is restocked throughout the stay.

Hotel Helios is located on the front line of San Cristóbal Beach in Almuñécar on the Costa Tropical. It offers an outdoor swimming pool and a bar with beautiful sea views. Free WiFi is provided. The swimming pool, the restaurant, the welcome present in the room: a bottle of champagne and macarons! I booked inclusive. Magnific dinner and breakfast.

Hotel Noy is a family-run hotel, 100 metres from San Cristóbal Beach, Almuñécar. All air-conditioned rooms at the Hotel Noy Hotel have a TV and a safe. The hotel is new, I really liked the location, literally 5 minutes to the sea. Also all the necessary shops are close by. The room had a lovely bathtub and overall the room was quite spacious. There is a hairdryer, small fridge and everything that was generally needed. The hotel itself is located as I understand it in an residential building. We had a small terrace overlooking the courtyard. So there was no noise from the street at all. The room itself was clean, no issues with the housekeeping either. Breakfasts at the hotel are pretty basic: an omelette, a couple of sausages/bacon, fresh juices, sausages/cheese. All quite tasty, there was also a great coffee machine. The bread did seem a little too stale. Overall if the goal is to have a hearty and quick breakfast, it's fine. We were overall very pleased with our stay, the small downsides are completely overridden by the lovely staff and beautiful fresh hotel.

It was my favorite part of the trip! The location was very convenient considering we had the ability to walk to the beach every day. The balcony was very nice for it included a bed, a dining table, and lawn chairs to relax on with a view to the beach.

The accomodation was really nice, clean, well looked after, modern and cosy, located in old town. In the house there's a kitchennette upstairs, dining room with a microwave and a fridge which you can use. There's also a roof terrace with beautiful view. If you like watching tv, forget it and relax, there's no TV which I loved. The bed was very comfortable, the AC and wi-fi working very well. The beach is about 10 minutes on foot, as well as the station.
