I loved that the property was beach front! It was so relaxing waking up next to the water. The sauna was a great touch, we used it both days and it was such a treat! Tigh Fitz is a charming, family-owned property that has been in the Fitzpatrick family for generations. Bhí Tigh Fitz tharr CIONN mar áit, an bean i bhfeighil Penny, san áireamh. We had an amazing time. Loved waking up for breakfast every morning and being served by the lovely girls sa chistin. The room was beautiful, great view and tea and coffee left beside the kettle every day. Heaven.

The location is stunning, on a quiet side of the island and on a hill with wonderful views. With rented bikes we got around easily. The room was very comfortable, and the downstairs sitting area was cozy and good for meeting people and chatting. Breakfast was delicious and the hostess very kind and helpful.

Aran Islands Hotel, on Inis Mor, has spacious en suite bedrooms, some with balconies and views of Kileaney Bay and Kilronan Harbour. It has a restaurant and bar and free internet access. Staff at reception was really nice and helpful. Rooms are nice and quiet comfortable. Fish at the restaurant was good and the pour a great pint of Guiness. Location is great to see the Black Fort and it’s only a short walk to the port. Minibus tours can be booked at reception and you’ll be picked up at the hotel.
