Shinada and his wife take pride in ensuring that the place is presentable and comfortable for the guests. The rooms were modern and welcoming; it feels as though we were being invited to experience their quaint Japanese home. Very nice. Dinner was complimentary at the Mizunoto restaurant with our stay. We had several options for the set meals, including sashimi set, tempura set and unagi set. Having dinner at the restaurant was great for our group too; As many nearby eating places are closed in the evening, it provided certainty for our dinner plan, so that’s a big plus point for us. The set meals were delicious and satisfying, made even better with the sake-food pairing recommendations. The restaurant has a good selection of the local sake available. Shinada personally served and attended to our group, taking time to share local knowledge and the selection of local sake. Great service. Overall, a comfortable stay and a great experience staying there. Highly recommended.

The whole house is beautifully appointed, the bathroom was fantastic, and the bath size is very generous. We loved the massage chair and the relaxed feel of sitting around the kitchen island. You can stroll along the ocean nearby and the location is so quiet and peaceful.
