JamboHouse Lamu está en Lamu, cerca de Lamu Fort, Gallery Baraka, y Lamu Museum. Dispone de wifi gratis y terraza. Al llegar alguien me esperaba en el aeropuerto (servicio gratuito) para acompañarme al hostel. Esto siempre se agradece. El dueño, Arnold, que es viajero también, es un pozo sin fondo de información, que te facilita las cosas desde el primer momento. El hostel que es sencillo pero coqueto, está dentro del casco viejo. Llegar cada día y cada noche hasta allí es un placer viajero. El área es muy segura. Tiene un roof top muy aprovechable.

Jua House dispone de vistas a la ciudad, terraza y wifi gratis. Ofrece alojamiento con una ubicación ideal en Lamu, a poca distancia de Manda Beach, Playa de Shela y Mnarani House. Excellent stay. Lovely authentic design, super sweet staff (shout out to Amani for always helping out with a big smile), and I LOVE the idea of the tea hour, as well as the wonderful fresh homemade breakfast. We will be back!

Seems like they contribute to the Lamu community in a big way, they are well known and loved with everyone I spoke to. Hotel staff will help you organize any outing you‘d like, I can recommend Dhow trips, but they also help with other activities (plus reasonable pricing recommendations). Eco friendly facilities and the breakfast is amazing with ingredients sourced almost exclusively from their own Lamu farm.

The house is a beautiful gem within old lamu town. The architecture is stunning, the rooms are freshened by fans and the pool is great to escape the day’s heat. The house staff is incredibly helpful and Peter was a great caretaker. We would also warmly recommend arranging a tour of the old town and of shela, as well as a boat tour if one wishes, with Abu. Abu is knowledgeable and loves his job; he is a great storyteller and a great artist (ask to see his recycled art). Walking around Lamu with him and learning about this unique place from him was a wonderful experience.

Peponi Hotel Lamu - Kenya ofrece alojamiento de 4 estrellas en Shela, frente a la playa, y dispone de piscina al aire libre, jardín y terraza. This hotel is a home from home. The quality, variety and value of the food is exceptional. The staff are second to none. And the owner was superb and made us feel very much at home. Very difficult to put into words how great this place is. Just GO THERE!! You can thank me later.

El Beytsalam, situado a 300 metros del fuerte de Lamu, ofrece alojamiento con salón común, terraza y cocina compartida. Hay WiFi gratuita. The hotel was very clean and all the amenities were just as described The room was very spacious, the air condition and fan made it very comfortable. Jivanji was very hospitable and all the staff were very polite. Breakfast was served on the terrace overlooking the ocean. A good variety of Swahili goodies.

The hotel is beautiful, and the staff is always available and welcoming. We have access to a wide range of activities and the hotel is well located, in the center of Shilla and a few minutes by walk from the beach.
