We truly enjoyed staying here. The views from the balcony were incredible and the pool with the ocean view was perfect for relaxing. Momo and the staff were so accommodating and helpful. There were tons of local places to eat around the hotel which was perfect for us. We loved experiencing authentic local food and local environments (pictured below). There is also a grocery store in walking distance as well. Great for a quick juice, snack, or toiletries. This hotel was great value and we would recommend staying here if you’re ok with being a tuk tuk ride away from a swimmable beach! We will forever remember the staff and kiki (the hotel dog) from our trip to sri lanka!! We were able to watch baby turtles find the ocean nearby and the staff even told us they would call if a turtle came to shore near the hotel.

The villa is gorgeous, plenty of space for the 5 of us. The whoops of joy as our kids explored the place said it all! Private pool, incredible food, attentive staff, wildlife all around. On our first evening, the guides took us to the red sand beach, about a 20 minute walk away. Very beautiful. You walk past a lake with baby crocs, can spot iguanas and other wildlife. Magical. We booked a safari through the hotel, the jeep was comfortable, and very reasonably priced. They packed us a breakfast to take with. The service was outstanding. We didn't want to leave.

EVERYTHING - Manu and his wife Shishi and the house dogs were the best! we felt at home, Manu went fishing and cooked us fresh crabs, shrimps, fish more than we can eat at a very fair price. he also went fishing in the next morning again and cooked us fresh lobsters in the morning free of charge because he didnt have lobsters the night before. he is just too kind and giving. we played card games all night as a family:) rooms are clean and beds are comfy. also hot shower! dont leave this place without eating the seafood!

The grounds were really well cared for. The breakfast was amazing and we enjoyed the varied selections at the restaurant for lunch and dinner. I liked the fish tacos in particular. This place has a relaxed & luxurious vibe. If you are looking for busy nightlife and crowded beaches, this place isn't for you.

They also organized a fairly priced Tuktuk for us and made sure we could get some lunch (as all the restaurants were closed). Can highly recommend.
