Rooms were super clean, the hotel seems to be new, the design was super cozy. Breakfast was great. Thank you to everyone at Riad Dar Awil for making my stay so memorable. I could gladly return and recommend this riad to anyone visiting Essaouira.

All apartments feature a living area with satellite TV and a bathroom. The kitchen includes a stove, refrigerator and kitchenware. We stayed in the top apartment with the (shared) terrace outside, the view was amazing and it was great to have the terrace right there. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable, also modern and good quality. We added on the breakfast which was good. Location was good for getting around and also close to the beach. The staff were lovely.

The interior was a perfect blend of traditional Moroccan design and modern comforts. High ceilings, intricate tilework, and a cozy courtyard and beautiful terrace. My room was perfect for me, with a comfortable bed, tasteful décor, and all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. What really set this riad apart was the service. The staff went out of their way to make me feel at home. From the warm welcome upon arrival to the thoughtful recommendations for local attractions, they made every effort to ensure my stay was as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Overall, I couldn’t recommend this riad enough for anyone visiting Essaouira. It offers the perfect mix of charm, comfort, and hospitality. Whether you’re in town for the culture, the food, or just to unwind, this riad is a true gem.

Villa La Rose Bleue - Résidence Hôtelière avec Piscine - Essaouira is a recently renovated holiday home in Essaouira, where guests can makes the most of its outdoor swimming pool, garden and bar. The air-conditioned accommodation is 10 km from Golf de Mogador, and guests can benefit from private parking available on site and free WiFi. Outdoor seating is also available at the holiday home. Great place to relax, very spacious, comfortable and perfectly equipped villa with everything you could possibly need (we even had an electric orange juicer to make our own juice). Great and clean pool with comfy loungers, bbq area, playground for kids, washing machine and tumble dryer Located just off the road to Agadir but you can hardly hear the traffic and it's not too heavy anyway. 15 mins drive to Essaouira and just 5 mins to a nearby village with shops, cafes and grills. Really good local and authentic Sunday market in Had Draa just 30 minutes away. This was the best place ever in Morocco within this budget. 100% recommend.

The owner and his family have beautifully decorated the riad with tasteful touches and beautiful photography throughout. Even though we arrived late in the evening, the owner was willing to prepare a delicious dinner for us. We were warmly welcomed. Our room was beautiful and well appointed. The air conditioning was welcome as it was a bit humid. Wifi worked well in all spaces. Breakfast was delicious. The owner, Mohammed, was very attentive and catered to our every need. For example, we were interested in purchasing some of the traditional inlaid wood trays that Essaouira is famous for. He took us to a shop with pieces of very high quality where we were able to purchase exactly what we wanted in a low pressure environment.
