Thé location was amazing, the water was calm, no wind like the other side of the island. The farm animals were a great perk . The owner and staff were so welcoming. The sunset with volcano views, near the entrance to the river for kayaking. Beside a happening bar. Mango beach is great too. The toilets and showers were very clean. A magical paradise. The hut was perfectly cute right on the water front.

Rancho Tranquillo se nachází v destinaci Moyogalpa a poskytuje přepážku s turistickými informacemi, nekuřácké ubytování, zahradu, bezplatné Wi-Fi a terasu. Jen 34 km odtud je Sopka Maderas. The name says it all. Couldn’t find a more tranquil place than here. Daniella and Tony are awesome hosts! Only a short walk to town, yet far enough away to emerce yourself in nature.

Finca La Magia se nachází v destinaci Ometepe a má bezplatné Wi-Fi, neplacené soukromé parkoviště a výhled na hory. Sopka Maderas se nachází 5,4 km odtud. Great place in the center of nature. I loved the sounds of the jungle at night and the outdoor shower hidden between plants. The atmosphere is very family like and Delfa is a great cook. I especially liked the empanadas and the moringa salat. The rooms are very clean.

Rocks Beach se nachází v destinaci Balgue a má bezplatné Wi-Fi, neplacené soukromé parkoviště a výhled na jezero. Sopka Maderas se nachází 12 km odtud. Amazing spot in Balgue, great value for money. The most enjoyable part of the house is the beautiful patio by the rock's beach. Our room was quite large, welcoming with a private bathroom. Kitchen is well equipped, you have all the essentials to prepare your meals. Cherry on the top is the owner: Mar is a sweet and really kind local man who loves to give you hints and tips to explore this beautiful island.

Hostal Así es mi Tierra se nachází v destinaci Balgue a poskytuje ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm a terasou. Sopka Maderas je 12 km daleko. We loved the relaxed vibe and how everything is set up and decorated, it's really really beautiful and we enjoyed just sitting around on our porch immensely! the location is great as it's away from the crazy hostel stuff but not too far with tons of great local places near by. Getting to all parts of the island from Balgue was ideal as well and everywhere you turn you see one of the volcanoes since you're right in between them. If you turn right from the place you get back into the main hostel area in a few minutes (on bike) and if you turn left you find really beautiful roadways and scenery and you can get away from all the "traveler" stuff. Cafe compestre is just down the street (2 min walking) where you can get a really really good cappuccino. My boyfriend also got a haircut across the street haha. The food they made us was so so so good (our favorite if we HAD to pick was probably the burritos, and they make some of the best smoothies on the island). we were also able to get our moto bike and kayaking through the family as well, and everything was a really good price and easy. On day 4 or so we found a hole in the tire which they fixed in just a couple hours and they didn't charge us which we really appreciated. There was a power outage one evening (it happens on the island from time to time) and they set us up with a candlelit dinner and we just loved that (picture below). The family who owns this are truly wonderful people and we felt really at home, possibly too at home as we were supposed to stay 5 nights and we stayed 9 or 10 😂. I usually got up early and worked a few hours in the balcony seating area with a coffee or smoothie, so can confirm working here is also no problem. For context, I was working fully online building a webpage with large files so internet needed to be really functioning well, and it was :)

We loved our stay at Xalli Beach Hotel. The hosts (especially Carlos) were super friendly, welcoming, and make sure you had everything you need to have a comfortable stay! The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great. The restaurant (apart from breakfast) was closed during our stay (I believe due to low season - October), but there were options to order food from a restaurant nearby and eat it in the restaurant at the property, so it wasn’t really a problem. We organised a taxi pick up from the ferry and a scooter rental via Xalli Beach Hotel as well, which worked great! The property is beautiful and you have direct access to the lake (so nice for a lovely morning swim).

Idyllic setting just across the road from a small lakeside beach . Comfortable rooms , great Breakfast and 1 minute walk from a supermarket which is open 18 hours a day. Marlon the owner is a gentleman, nothing is too much trouble and I will always treasure memories of having a beer and watching the World Series with him in the bar.

Our group of friends had an amazing time at Caballito Mar! The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with stunning views that make you want to stay longer. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. Everyone loved it! A hidden gem we’d definitely come back to.
