Hotel Alexander is only 200 metres from the beach in Noordwijk aan Zee. It includes free WiFi and the Alexander Beach Club with a panoramic sea-view terrace. Check in was amazing. Anne (pronounced Ann-ah) was very nice and welcoming. She noticed an oversight in my reservation and made the correction without having to be asked. Had a wonderful room with a great view. Breakfast was very nice and the staff were efficient.

This is a beautiful property, well located near the centre of the town and on the waterfront. The house is themed on the history of a previous Röder and some fascinating documents and pictures are on display. Even the rooms are named after other members of the family, which is a nice touch. The host was amazing and couldn't do enough, being particularly helpful in securing our e-bikes in his garage. Breakfast was wonderful and eaten at a communal table with other guests, which is fully in keeping with the ambiance of the house and was most enjoyable.

There are 7 rooms in this hotel, with a common area for eating, common deck looking over the water, coffee always available. We booked 5 rooms for our sons’s wedding and it was perfect! It was very private, clean & the staff was exceptional! Breakfast became a favorite for us, various breads, jam, yogurt, fresh fruit, boiled egg, butter, meat & cheese. The little town was lovely and easy to navigate - all rooms had AC, dinner one night at the steakhouse was very good- we had wedding plans the rest of the time, or we would have gone every night.

I had a very large room which was spotlessly clean and had a kettle and fridge. There was a secure coutyard where I couls store my bicycle. Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection.

Near the beach, with several restaurants nearby. We were there in early spring, so it wasn't a beach vacation...but this accommodation in Katwijk aan Zee is a nice quiet base from which to visit several important sites such as Keukenhof Gardens, Kinderdijk, and Amsterdam. And it was nice to be able to walk to the beach even if it wasn't summer.

The house is extremely well equipped. You really have everything if you want to cook or do some washing. What we especially liked was the large living room with the kitchen. And you can rent bicycles, there are six of them. The surrounding of the house is distinctly pleasant, you can also use the garden - in the company of hens and sheep. There were only three of us, but I can imagine a much larger group to have an excellent time in this property. And last but not least - Paulette is a fantastic host.

Pokoj prostorný, účelně zařízený, káva z kávovaru dobrá, denně čisté ručníky, wifi bezproblémová. Klid, ale při tom za rohem centrum města. Parkování auta přímo před ubytováním, bezplatné, vždy bylo místo. Celkově lokalita města Wassenaar k doporučení - město samo o sobě pěkné, hned za městem pěkná pláž s písečnými dunami, výborný výchozí bod pro hlavní turistické cíle na všechny strany - Rotterdam, Gouda, Utrecht, Den Haag, Amsterdam, Haarlem, Zaanse Schans, tulipánová pole doslova za rohem. Přímo z pokoje byl pěkný výhled na kanál s loděmi, což jen dokreslovalo atmosféru místa. Cítili jsme se zde dobře. Paní hostitelka ochotná, milá, vstřícná, kvůli jejím snídaním jsme dokonce posunuli program, protože snídaně od ní by mohly konkurovat i pětihvězdičkovým hotelům. Za vše děkujeme.
