Nature abounds around Foxton with endless outdoor experiences including walkways, cycleways and tramping tracks in the Tararua Forest Park. We are the ideal place to stay if you are catching the Interisland ferry and it is just a 30-minute drive to Palmerston North. It was 200 meters from Highway one and close to the Dutch Molen restaurant and Foxtons fish and chip shop, both of them excellent. We took our fish and chips down to Foxton beach and watched the sun set. Our main like was our lovely hosts Leslie and Psul who wanted to make sure everything was satisfactory, which it was.

Across the street was a cute playground with a zip line we could use! Also the beach was amazing to walk on! So beautiful! And we loved listening to the records which included one of our favorite groups - Pink Floyd! It was very relaxing and peaceful.
