Absolutely had the best time in Collingwood and staying at Blue Moon. The property is a lovely place to stay, with a comfortable bed Wi-Fi was great, location was brilliant and the town is very charming. Daniel was great to talk to, as interesting as I expected. The property has all the utensils you need, the oven top is separate from your room but that was no problem for us. We will definitely be back when we come back to New Zealand And to confirm a previous review, the toilet paper is superb

The boat shed cabin was cosy. We all loved the gardens and the outdoor kitchen and dining area. The boys loved the stream and watching the eels. 2 days and we didn't want to leave.

The room was very spacious and extremely clean. In fact, it was cleaner than any other hotel I’ve stayed at in New Zealand on my three week trip. Sometimes staying in someone’s home can feel uncomfortable, but this was not the case at all. Julie was so welcoming, and the guest rooms are on the top floor and each have their own private amenities. Julie was incredibly kind, offering helpful information about the area, and she went above and beyond by doing our dishes, refreshing the breakfast food in the fridge, and tidying up every day. The neighborhood is super cute and peaceful too, and our room had a lovely view of the mountains. This was definitely a better deal than any other hotel in the area. I would absolutely stay here again.

Owners, Elizabeth and Duan made us feel right at home, went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend staying here.

It was the perfect size, had all of the right details, had a great view, even better location, and came with so many details for local activities. This was our favorite stay in New Zealand.

Situated in Marahau, Kanuka Ridge Lodge is a short drive to the beach, the cafes, restaurants and the start of the Abel Tasman National Park. Free unlimited WiFi and private parking. We loved our stay here. It's a beautiful location in the national park surrounded by nature. Stuart the host elevates the experience, he's great fun and a mine of information. You have to understand that these are a number of co-located small lodges and manage expectations around this. We were travelling with our 2 sons. We had a lodge with an ensuite bathroom, they had one with a kitchen but no bathroom. There is a well equipped kitchen/ dining and shower unit in the centre of the camp with fridges for food. It was very clean. Kept tidy, comfy beds and good showers. What is really lovely is sitting on our veranda listening to the birds, you are just feet away from the wildlife. It's a great location if you want to explore the national park. It's great fun getting a water taxi and exploring sections along the Abel Tasman way or getting kayaks.

The owner made us very welcome and was extremely helpful in booking our water taxis for our walk the next day and advising about where to eat. The chalet was one of the best equipped we have been in and very clean. Great location for getting to Abel Tasman park - right next door to water taxis.

Situated in Marahau, 38 km from Nelson, Abel Tasman Lodge features a hot tub and sauna. Abel Tasman National Park is within a 5-minute walk from the property. The facility was perfect and the location fabulous. The owners are lovely and go the extra mile to make your stay exceptional. We have booked again for our next holiday in Marahau, so I think that says it all 😉🤗🏖️ Recommend it as the best place to stay in Marahau!
