This hostel exceeded my expectations. I stayed in a 4-bed dorm with very spacious beds, each with its own plug. The room also had two bathrooms and four large lockers, which made for a much more comfortable experience. The staff was excellent, and the location in Barranco, one of Lima's top neighbourhoods, was perfect.

Josslyn was very friendly in coordinating the reservation and facilitating an early check-in. Luis told me about Peruvian cuisine and helped me practice Spanish. Lucía was very friendly at check out and told me a lot about Peruvian culture. The breakfast was quite nice as well.

Hotel Antigua Miraflores offers free Wi-Fi, free parking nearby the Love Park and Miraflores Central Park with its nightly folklore shows. It is nearby Waikiki Beach, along the South Pacific Ocean. Lovely old world charm in a garden setting with water fountains, opening room windows with a great restaurant, and a little bar. Safe, secure, and convenient. It's an absolute oasis and just beautiful.
