The air conditioning was great and silent. They picked us up at the airport right in time and the accommodation was nearby. It’s a great choice if you have an overnight stay to go to El Nido, and also if you want to explore the city for a few days, because the accommodation is super nice!

It is impossible not to feel like at home with the service you get at this accommodation.

Food is exceptional - best in the Phillipines and their veggie options are soo tasty. Staff are super lovely and accommodating. The main dining/ chilling area is so cool - so many areas to chill and read etc. we (myself & my bf) totally switched off and loved our stay here!!!

I decided to make an exception and stay at a hostel (instead of getting a private room with bathroom at a hotel) because the vibe and personality of this place are just so awesome!! I ended up paying for two persons for a doubleroom, just so that I could have a private room all to myself. Great stay! Excellent customer service -Fantastic location!! P.S. after I checked out, I was supposed to do a 4 day/3 night Expedition tour from El Nido to Coron (booked through another company). When the expedition got canceled and I had no place to stay (because all accommodations in El Nido were fully booked), the girls (Ellen, Marielle, (and Celeste)) were going out of their way trying to help me find a place to stay on the island. I genuinely appreciate the care that they showed the whole time. I feel genuinely valued and cared for, not only as a hotel guest but as a guest of the Philippines. Thank you, Happiness Hostel and staff!!

Being in the middle of the forest was very special!
