Quiet, spacious and wonderful hosts. They took the time to show us around the property. Very friendly hosts. They gave us great recommendations for dinner places. We enjoyed the pool, and we even had a taste of fruits they grow on their property. The family room was spacious for 5 people, beds are very comfortable and bathroom is gorgeous. The continental breakfast was served with homemade jams they make themselves. Lots of personal touches which we loved. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Our hosts, Luiz & Celia, restored the family mansion to its original splendor, in a very authentic manner - the main house as well as the enticing adjacent old stone cottages, which are self- catering. Luiz took us to the remains of the Roman bridge and road, well worth a visit. He also showed us around his own house, a remarkable 'house museum'. Definately worth a detour.
