Gästhus Nornäs is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Nornäs, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. We stayed here for four nights and absolutely loved it. Our hosts, Chris and Tom, were super friendly, chatty, and genuinely caring—we really enjoyed their company. The property itself is lovely: very clean, calm, and with a beautiful view from the room. It truly felt like home. The room, bathroom, and toilet were all perfect. The only small point is that the room isn’t very soundproof, though we were lucky to have quiet neighbors. Also, there was no hairdryer in the room. The shared kitchen is big, fully equipped, and kept spotless. Breakfast was more than satisfactory—we had it all four mornings and were very happy with it. It’s comparable to what you’d get in a good 2–3 star hotel. The surroundings are wonderful, with a small scenic lake nearby and plenty of outdoor activities available, such as biking, e-biking, canoeing, ... Overall, we were truly satisfied with our stay. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!

The landlord was very friendly, the house is very cozy and huge, the shared bathroom is very clean and you can see the pretty sky at night. 35-40 minutes driver to the ski resort Sälen.

We got a very warm welcome with good information about tracks for crosscountry-skiing. We spent most time in friendly kitchen. Surrounded by nature. It was a fantastic stay. Thank you!
