Best thing was Nina and her delicious morning homemade breads. Also her bread pudding and fresh scones with jam and whip cream was delicious. Nina was a wonderful host that made sure your stay was comfortable. She even had a small dish of ice in the freezer she would fill for us to use in our drinks. The beds were great, room quiet, and curtains that made it nice and dark for sleeping. House has great charm, history and beautiful gardens.

Staying at Hobart Hideaway Pods felt like a magical escape – central to Hobart yet completely immersed in nature. Tanya, the host, was incredibly warm and welcoming. Watching the wildlife from the pod was unforgettable: playful pademelons, vibrant birdlife, flitting butterflies, and buzzing bees. The goats added a charming touch, captivating us for hours. We loved the cozy warmth of the eco-cabins and the breathtaking views.

The owner is so kind. He prepared the room for us next to the parking door so it is so easy to bring luggages from our car to the room. The owner was also kind that he let us sit in the lobby after checkout for a couple hours, because we had problem with the delayed baggage from the airline. He even offered to help us finding the hotels for our changing plan which we have to do to wait for our luggage. Great value and great stay. One thing to know is that the heater wasn’t work in the small room, but it is ok. There are electrical blankets for every bed.

Everything! This is a luxurious and well-priced hotel with large, beautifully presented rooms and very comfy beds! Our room opened onto the garden which made our stay, as did the complimentary lounge facilities .. Breakfast was well done, and the staff were very helpful. It's a five-minute walk to local facilities and shorter distance (0.9km) than I thought to Battery point from the hotel as there's a walkway by the marina. The parking was great, and I'd be delighted to stay there again but for longer next time!

    Great location not far from the city centre. Easily accessible by car, possibly a bit harder by foot. The continental breakfast provided a great selection & the little dining room was lovely. The apartment was bright, sunny, spacious & well decorated. The beds are huge!

    What a fantastic place to stay! It was exceptionally clean, great location, plenty of food options nearby. The rooms are large and well appointed. There were also lots of little personal touches to really make you feel at home and welcome! Breakfast was lovely and the fresh fruit salad was most enjoyable! Can absolutely recommend this place. Linda made us feel very welcome and was very friendly and helpful. 😊

    The location Sandy Bay is perfect place to be as it’s quiet and close to Hobart and other sightseeing attractions such as the Shot tower and Mt Wellington. A beautiful building and garden and the housekeeper during our stay was so charming, helpful and kept our rooms spotless . Breakfast there is a bonus and you can safely park your car in the parking lot.
