Everything about this spot and our room was perfect! We booked last minute and got (what we consider) a great deal. Top floor suite with ocean views. The room is really big, has a kitchenette with fridge and microwave, big closet, plus the bathroom is huge! The walk in shower is gorgeous and the spa tub was a welcome surprise. Breakfast is simple, cooked fresh and a great way to start the morning. Will absolutely come back to spend more time in this place.

Really sweet little inn, with a very friendly owner to greet you. Excellent location in the heart of the village. Rooms are clean, modern and well appointed. The inn enforces a very quiet policy, so nice not to worry about noise.

We loved our stay - the best part was dealing with Hannah and the staff downstairs at Betty's. The food was always spot on. Our room worked out just fine for us to do a little work too.

Joe is a charming, interesting and knowledgeable host. He and Christopher create a warm and inviting refuge for the traveller in this magnificent example of early 1900’s architecture. Their home has fascinating art pieces, a delightful reading nook, and a relaxing lounge room. The bedrooms are beautifully appointed. Ours was called the Dragonfly. It provided modern amenity in a classic style. The bed was sumptuous (sorry, forgot to take a photo). A coffee machine and spa bath were provided. Breakfast is “an occasion” -beautifully set table for the guests to share conversation while eating a well proportioned and delicious meal carefully prepared by Christopher. This was the final night of our travels and I could not imagine a more apt place to enjoy our last taste of Maritime Hospitality. Treat yourself!!

The owners, Joanna and Chris are wonderful. The location is fabulous, Our room was comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast was very nice, different every morning.

Fabulous facility, Sam - their staff member was waiting for us upon arrival & carried in our bags. Very lively, exceptional facility. The room was top notch!!! They thought of everything for a very high quality stay!

A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Mahone Bay, River Ridge Lodge is a guest house surrounded by views of the garden.
