Didier is great. The house is so welcoming and super cosy. It’s a 5 minute walk into town to get to the restaurants and super close to the ski lifts. Perfect place to start a hiking route as well. Very much recommended for a value for money stay!

Booked a late catered skiing holiday in Chatel, and Chalet Gite offered very good value. They also accomodated a late change in our booking (the addition of an additional guest), and to our dietary requirements (one of our group did not eat potato). The hotel was a good base for skiing and had everything we needed - the evening entertainment was a bonus! Breakfast was a self service buffet which set us up well for the day. The evening meal was both tasty and hearty, with more than adequate portions - just what we wanted. We were the only British people staying, and were made to feel very welcome despite our limited French. Good value bar in the evening.

A dream of an escape to Troistorrents - well connected on the trainline to Champery and the bus to Morgins. Peaceful surroundings - from deer in the garden, to watching sunset behind the Dents Blanches from the hot tub - every detail has been thought of, and all with a touch of luxury. Fiona was so welcoming to us, and was very helpful with suggestions for dinner and transport connections. The rooms are delightful - modern take on traditional chalet rustic - gorgeous hot shower and comfy bed. We had our own entrance which meant we could come and go. I highly recommend Fiona's breakfast (fresh pastries, bread, jams, fruit and yoghurt). Can't wait to come back - and next time I hope to stay longer!

Comfortable room with good WiFi and large screen TV. I was travelling with a large snowboard roller bag and rucksack. Patrick offered a secure lock up for me to leave my bags and go snowboarding as I was only staying one night. The shared bathroom was clean and the shower worked well. I enjoyed a good vegetarian meal in the restaurant in the evening. Very close to Troistorrents railway station so worked well for me as I was travelling with an Interrail pass.
