Our host Lily was fantastic, so welcoming and happy to help with anything! She really made our stay great and even provided us with a late check out as we were leaving at 2pm. It’s low season at the moment so we had the place to ourselves, the kitchen was great, had everything we needed and there’s a supermarket right next door. Also had a fridge in our room which was really handy. We did book our tours in advance but we wish we had of booked through Lily as she provides a discount. We loved the personal touches of people who stayed there signing messages on the wall and the hammocks out the back were cute too.

The apartment host family are super nice and friendly to take care my two-days stay here. Everything you need for you travel, including tour advices and reservations, taxi or shuttle to the next place, Ilfido can help you in a very quick way. He is English teacher so totally easy to talk and learn more about this area. I’m so appreciated and enjoy my stay here. Apartment is near to the town and supply oven, microwave oven, coffee machine and others to fulfill my simply cooking needs. Thus I could enjoy my Christmas Eve dinner by myself.

Amazing Staff - we extended our stay for one night without any problem. Rooms are nice decorated, comfortable beds. The breakfast is very good, you can choose from various options. If the weather is good enough you can enjoy the breakfast outside having a view over the valley.

What a lovely, interesting little Casita! Beautiful light, comfortable bed, absolutely marvelous host, and a stunning cook as well! Just be prepared that you will access the house via a steep gravel road just slightly outside of the main part of Santa Elena. It's good to have an SUV with good ground clearance in Monteverde and this is no different.

    Great location, great rooms, private and good beds to sleep in. Location was good, close to the small centre. Breakfast was good, fresh fruit and one day pancakes other days scrambled eggs. The personel is the best. Great reception from Jorge and Ro gave good tips and was very nice all dat around. Would very much recommend staying here!

    The hostel is run by a a charming and friendly family including Katrina the dog, Great breakfast and great location - minutes from the centre of Monteverde but also just outside the centre, meaning it was quiet. Great value for money and one of the best places we stayed on our trip. The breakfast pancakes are recommended too.
