There was nothing not to like about our stay at La Tannerie. The welcome was brilliant, the facilities exceeded expectations with a clean and oh so comfortable room for our family. We were provided with a cot for our baby with no additional charge or fuss, and the breakfast was lovely and tailored to our specific requests (we were asked what we wanted from the boulangerie). The atmosphere was warm and friendly and the gardens were beautiful.

Old house tastefully modernised. The decoration of the room was beautiful - spacious with separate sitting room, toilet and bathroom. Thoughtful touches - welcome chocolate, coffee machine, water etc. The host has limited English but very communicative and obliging and friendly. Fantastic breakfast. Close to Medieval ramparts which completely encircles the town - lovely evening walk. Huge selection of cafes and restaurants nearby. Seemingly few tourists - for us a real bonus!

A lovely, unique place to stay in a slightly quirky by beautifully converted property. Exceptionally clean with big, well thought-out and well appointed rooms. Breakfast was wonderfully fresh and the staff very welcoming and engaging.

Very welcoming, friendly and generous host. A convenient location, on a quiet road, giving easy access to the road network and the nearby town, yet in a tranquil setting, with off-street parking, backing onto bird-filled woodland. The interior is traditional, comfortable and beautifully-kept. The guest accommodation is built into the roof, with large, opening roof windows overlooking the garden and woodland, and divided into two rooms plus a toilet /shower room, all well- appointed. Breakfast was splendid, and our host took care to provide for specific dietary requirements, having been notified in advance. A feeling of privacy and relaxation, yet with advice or assistance available if we needed it.
