The owners are wonderful. Very kind and caring - nothing too much trouble, very welcoming! Peace and quiet - it’s in the middle of vineyards by the river-quite isolated which suited us! It is lovely, rustic and charming-with goats, a very friendly dog and cat-yet spotlessly clean and a very comfortable bed. We were served a welcome drink on a jetty over the river to watch surfers on the Dordogne bore. Breakfast was all fresh and home-made -very good indeed, served on a balcony overlooking the river.

The room makes visiting all the castles bedrooms a little dull, since now you have actually slept in one. The hosts are very very nice and accommodating. The breakfast is lovely. We recommend a couple of days so you can really enjoy the place and the surrounding areas.

This was the last stop of our trip and was a great ending to our trip. Amazing location in the middle of nature with a river just next to the chateau. Beautiful sunset at night. The rooms are modern and big, common spaces are beautiful with nice furniture that fits the theme. The owners are very nice and do everything to make sure you are well and welcomed. They have a small restaurant outside in the summer in the garden, food is very good. We have a free wine tasting on the day we arrived and breakfast is simple but very fresh and tasty !

    The hostess was very pleasant and helpful, made up the (very comfortable) sofa bed for me although we hadn't asked for this on booking. Lovely quiet spot with safe parking for a car. Well equipped. Excellent breakfast. Would recommend absolutely, lovely stay.
