Location was perfect - 5 minute walk from town; hostess and host were awesome - friendly and helpful. They suggested places to go and made restaurant reservations for us. If we return to Serlat we will definitely stay there again (and Serlat is definitely a beautiful town worth returning to.)

If you are homesick this lovely place run by a very hospitable owner is the safe bet to help you feel at home. A very nice bedroom with private bathroom and very large and fully equipped shared kitchen-cum-living room, on the first floor of a large standalone house (with a separate entry) situated right on the fringe of the compact old quarter. Come for two days, stay for a week, because there is plenty to see in the area - don't miss Lascaux caves (replica v.4), castles, and absolutely fabulous Marqueyssac gardens (sitting on the top of a mountain) - all well-connected by a network of local buses! Note: you need to climb a little bit (say, five minutes) to reach the place from the very centre, but in return you have very nice views. :)

The location was close to Sarlat but not in the city. It offered a quiet and peaceful place to return to after a day of exploring the many sites surrounding Sarlat. Nelly and Frank were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. They offered suggestions for sites and restaurants and even for where to travel to next. Breakfast was wonderful and included homemade jams and yaourt. We are happy we picked this place for five nights.

Beautiful surroundings and very close to Sarlat. The kids loved wandering the grounds to visit the donkey and pony and spent a lot of time at the pool and pond. We had lots of room in our apartment for a family of 5 and loved the private outdoor space too.

    This bed and breakfast was perfectly placed for the medieval town of Sarlat-la-Caneda and the rest of Dordogne. Alisa and Daniel were wonderful hosts and offered great suggestion on activities and restaurants. The breakfast was fabulous with a range of fresh fruits, yoghurt and the freshest croissants you’ve ever had.
