The castle has an amazing history. We received a private guided tour. Staying in a place from the 12th century with a lot of further history is special. Hearing about how the current owners parents spent 60 years restoring the castle. We also loved the paintings done by the current owner's father. We were able to walk around the castle and also walk a 2km loop on paths around the valley. The room had everything we needed and the breakfast was nice.

Tim was a wonderful host. The croissants, coffee, and homemade soda bread and jams were an excellent way to start the day alongside some great conversation. Tim was very accommodating to our comings and goings and gave plenty of recommendations to enjoy the area.

A lovely old renovated home with tons of charm. Emilie is a delightful host, happy to chat and offer suggestions for the area. Parking was not an issue, right beside the hotel. Easy walking to numerous options for supper. The house was an interesting blend of the original architecture and more modern additions. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the area. Emilie makes you feel very welcome and ‘at home while away from home’.

    What a wonderful experience to stay in this magnificently restored castle that leaves a legacy for thousands of years to come! The hist, Emmanuel, was charming and responsive, giving us a tour of the castle on arrival, responding immediately to a request, and providing a superb breakfast. The castle is glorious! It was such a delight to stay there and to be able to climb to the top to enjoy the stunning view. Magic!

    Wow recommend anyone to go. So much to see and passion has been put into the place (as well as money). The lord was a fun guy with lots of knowledge and history for the building. Breakfast was very quaint and setting was Devine. To be able to stay in his chateau and have a private tour and eat breakfast there too was a privilege.
